Spaceflight Simulator How to build Atlas v rocket with Perseverance rover.
A United Launch Alliance Atlas V 541 rocket will launch NASA's Perseverance rover to Mars. The spacecraft will explore the Jezero Crater to study the planet's habitability, seek signs of past microbial life, collect and store samples of selected rock and soil and prepare for future human missions.

if anyone is having issues with the heat shield and fairings that cover the rover and sky crane, flip the black seperators connected to the black aerodynamic fuselages. I struggled for a good hour on it, want to spare people from giving up completely

Some things to do while building 1 be sure to save frequently. It doesn’t matter how good of a builder you are. You will mess up. 2 test the major separation events. It’s gonna be a bummer when your on your way to Mars and your heat sheiks or service module doesn’t come off

Okay since the re-entry update have to do some things to keep this up to date 1. Make sure to replace the custom-made heatshield with the new heat shields make sure when your heat Shield choose one that fits the fairings 2. When sending this to Mars make sure the fairings can survive re-entry

If your silver part above the rover and it’s fairings doesn’t separate, make sure to flip the black separator until it connects to the orange separator in the rover and then flip the orange one.

If the rocket parts is in the top of the blueprint, rotate 1/4 the way and swipe it downwards the blueprint then, rotate it back to normal.

Whenever I separate from the core (orange stage) for some reason it also separates the crew stage away so I'm just left with the rover section, and it also says it's uncontrollable. Does this rocket still work with the current update or have I done something wrong?

9:25 problem. If I click on the backshield, the shield just separates into halves and detaches like any other shield. How do you detach the rover with the shield keeping intact? Also my heart shield pops off but the separator remains attatched to the rover. Any suggestions?

I built it the same way but the heat. Shells wont come off correctly and the docking port party at connects the descent stage to the rocket itself wont properly come off. Helpppppp.

if you can get the seperators connecter to the aerodynamic fuselages off but can't get the rover out of the fairings, change the top fairing to the texture to the one with multiple lines then it should pop right out
