My "go-to" teacher for anything WordPress. Clifton won me with his smile, but has KEPT me returning with his teaching style and content . Well done sir. Keep me learning the WP and Kadence products.
Feedback from Italy: perfect voice tone, perfect speed, very detailed (desktop, tablet and mobile) and easy to follow explanation, super useful examples, very well organized and nice looking graphic ........ in short, your videos Clifton stand out from the crowd !!! I'm very happy I discovered your channel !!!
I just love the way your tutorials flow. Yours are probably the easiest-to-follow I have come across to date. I can only see you getting better at this.
Tried building a hero image yesterday for about 6 hours...today I thought I'd stop winging it and find a good tutorial, and man, you delivered! Subscribed =)
Thank You again! Pro-tips for responsive editing and optimization. Your content is detailed, thorough and extremely helpful to all of us who want to up our game and efficiently get the most out of Kadence Suite.
Hi Clifton! I am giving a thumbs up for this video as always....just so good at explaining things... I would like to ask you to consider creating a video where you work from the ground up with kadence them, kadence blocks....showing the kadence blocks default settings ...and changing them to other units of measurement...not pixels...all people learning ...really need to learn not to use pixels...
I was a old school WordPress developer and never much used the "free" stuff because of bloat, and plugins not being maintained. But since Gutenberg came along I have been hooked on this type of page, and post development. Your videos have taken me across the finish line in my skill set development. Are you doing anything with HOOKS,Functions and some of the other more "coding" features of WP? Great work!
Thank you! yes, I have some more intermediate tutorials on the schedule that are a mix of coding and hooks. I agree with you, as a developer myself, Gutenberg has really made me take a fresh look at how we design and develop with WP. Appreciate you watching and stay tuned!
Discovered your channel recently and I find your Kadence theme/blocks tutorials extremely helpful. I appreciate how you demonstrate the design and creation of various sections, and also the mobile responsive techniques. Thank you! 👍😃
Hey Clifton, greetings from England. I've been trying for months to figure out how to do these (allegedly) simple things in WP using YT vids. I have never got the hang of it. Somehow you have made it simple, and I'm really optimistic this time - I'll let you know how I get on. Just goes to show that page views are no guide to quality. Thanks for your hard work and clear explanations. Please continue to produce these. May the Blocks be with you!
Clifton, that video was a very informative and very helpful lesson. Thank you for making these videos. I would love to see a video of making a Homestyle page like the Kadence home page. I'm a big fan of Kadence.
I was struggling to create a hero heading, my image kept appearing bigger than I wanted. Your video has helped give the hero heading I wanted. Thanks for the great tutorial.
Is there an option to achieve #4 as Custom Layout Posts? I really love it and would be great to have this dynamic with a featured image and excerpt text from the post. But I think it might be problematic as the image sizes are different throughout the media library and the text excerpts might be different too as well as the title. But maybe you have an idea how to make it (maybe provide a Video) would be highly appreciated :)
Hi Clifton, When I make a row and fill it with a background image, and then make another row with two columns inside the initial row, I am having trouble getting the section blocks in each of the two columns to move to center in the middle of the initial row. When I click the vertical align tool and click 'Align middle' nothing happens. I can't work it out. Do you know what's going on? Much obliged, Dan
