DBZ builds are always awesome. This Barbarian build was spot on. Do you think you could build Yujiro Hanma from Baki? I would love to see your take on him.
I said it on a previous video, but you should definitely try out Mutants and Masterminds for building characters. I'd love to see how you tackle them. It's a really enjoyable system that I think needs more recognition.
7:35 old video, i know, but i could easily see this reflavored as the ground cracking and becoming uneven, since its frequently seen that charging up enough can even break the environment around you as well as kick up debris, so it could just be that
@@yomamaweirdifyyou can't unfortunately, so, it's up to the DM wether they want to allow it or not. I would tbh, just to help the player feel like they're playing Broly (or fighting against Broly lmao)
Been playing as a monk-barb mix that's been working well. You pick zealot barb as your primal path to gain warrior of the gods as well as extra damage during rage and sun soul monk because it's literally dbz
I love how you use clips from MoldyBagels video where he does an analysis on why Z Broly is a top tier in DBFZ (one of the best grabs in the game coming in at 13 frames which unless you’re ready for it, you’re not reacting to cause he can throw it out literally anytime during the blockstring. Did I mention it has Heavy armor (basically he gets hit but he doesn’t get stunned so he just finishes the move anyways) for 1 hit? Not to mention that his lariat/clothesline has 10 hits of heavy armor. Fun Fact, Z Broly, a grappler, is the best zoner in the game even though dedicated zoners exist.)
Wild Magic is cool. I would have gone Storm Herald Barbarian (since it’s not completely about storms and lightning). You can change the terrain to a Tundra, to the make the fight look like the beginning of the video. Enemies also take cold damage I believe. You can even, at higher levels, prevent enemies from getting up once knocked prone (which is great for getting lots of damage in).
dnd build ideas: 1. rudeus greyrat, ghislaine, or ruijerd from jobless reincarnation 2. benimaru from that time I got reincarnated as a slime 3. momon ( ainz alter ego ) from overlord 4. lu bu from dynasty warriors 5. megumin from konosuba
I like this build a lot as you didn't go for the predictable route of Berserker Barbarian, however if you do not use magical weapons this build quickly becomes obsolete since more often than not after you reach about level 6 you'll be running into creatures that have either resistance or immunity to non-magical damage. Meaning you're either going to have to cut off one of your arms for the Arcane Propulsion Arm, which is pretty cool because of ROCKET FIST!! but other than that it kind of takes away from the whole Broly thing, however if you decide to take 6 levels of monk to make up for that you loose out on Persistent Rage and the +4 increase to both Strength and Constitution to a maximum of 24 which kind of sucks and well yeah it just feels pretty bad that you either have to give up flavour for the mechanics or give up good reliable damage with your fists for the flavour
Love the idea of this build, been watching you cook for a bit now and I'm very impressed with what youre able to come up with. After seeing your sucess with lord Ainz, I'm more than curious to see how you would make my favorite character from Overlord, Shalltear Bloodfallen. I'f not then second best would be Entoma Vasilissa Zeta
Wild Magic representing the arbitrarily legendary Broly is actually a perfect fit and I'm mad at myself for not seeing it coming. So I've never seen the original Broly movie, just Abridged. TFS were exceptionally discerning about which shots to actually use, because hot damn the animation in some of those shots looks _cheap._ I didn't realise just how well their parody dub was constructed.
Broly !!!! .... whoaa nice !!! Cant wait for this . Could you do samurai jack ? Oh and another question .... when you first started playing dnd What was a your first character?
I would love to do samurai Jack even though he might be a little more straightforward as just a samurai, I think it's definitely doable. The first character I ever played was actually a ranger, and it was before most of the additional books came out so there was a basic hunter ranger. I definitely wasn't optimized, and I tried to spread my character a little too thin on stats, but I loved that character
@@dndbuilds ive played about 4 campaigns im currently in 2 playing curse of strahd and tomb of Annihilation. My first character was a dwarf cleric . I was a noob and no one wanted to be healer lol . But paladin is my go to aasimar paladin in curse and triton paladin in tomb . Are you currently in a campaign ?
Well you're in luck, I had them for a vote over on my patreon and they won. So you'll see them in 2 weeks (got someone else lined up for next week already)
Hey so I am new to dnd and I have a question. I am trying to make your Goku build with dnd beyond and my question is: Can the variant aasimar use the protector subclass? It’s the only aasimar on there and was wondering if it’s the same thing. This would be a great help.
There should be the other Aasimar as well, it's just from a different source book. However you should be able to get pretty similar results with the variant, but I would have to double check
Yes. The newer version of the Aasimar removes the three sub-race options, but at Level 3, it gives you the three Radiant options from the subraces, though the damage is reduced from your level to your proficiency bonus
@@dndbuilds Sorry for the late response. Thank you for your feedback. I was trying to figure out why the subclasses were not popping up on dnd beyond. And yeah while I was comparing it to your Goku build it was very similar, it was just missing the protector subclass
@@gavincolter1073 no problem, the version with Protector is from Volos Guide to Monsters. The other version from Mordenkainen Monsters of the Multiverse still works you just don't get any flying unfortunately.
To me the subclass should get stronger with levls as other magic classes do for example the d6 ligth bolt should increase in number and at lvl 17 it becomes 4d6 same with the others
@DnD Builds I would say it is its a story about an atheist being reincarnated into ww1 (more like ww2) where magic exists a he now a she has to pray to survive the harsh environment that God created to punish her and the anime is on par with overlord, re zero, and konosuba witch are all very great anime that I started off with and should also have dnd conversations
@@mementomori3665 The build is a blast! It's a pretty straightforward set-up that you really start to take off with once you take Tavern Brawler, boost Strength to 20 and get the right gear for it. For the low cost of your cosmetic appearance you can take the Astral Tadpole option to permanently gain flight as well.
You know , since the mario movie came out .... what would be a good build for mario ? Lol. 😅 Artificier maybe ... cuz of plumbing and different outfits with powers lol .. mushrooms of transformations .
Im trying ti build Tristepin Parcipal from Wakfu but im non realy sure im doing a good job , could you make a video about It? The only thing that im sure Is correct Is the hexblade class😅
This version, I don't believe so, simply because there's no energy blast ability that isn't tied to a spell in baldur's Gate 3, and anytime you go into rage as a barbarian you can't cast any spells
