I keep getting a useCart must be used within a CartProvider, even after putting the cart provider further up the component tree. Any idea on what i could be doing wrong?
For an open source project, this is a joke. There are hundreds of open issues, 171 unresolved PR's, and no one has even acknowledged my feature request regarding a HUGE problem with logging (every single HTTP request to the API is logged using morgan and can't be disabled unless you use patch-package). Given how little the contributors pay attention to the community and the huge backlog of PR's, I won't even bother to waste the time submitting one since I have little faith it will be seen let alone merged. I realize you guys aren't the maintainers, but this message is a cautionary tale to anyone thinking of using it - don't. We have zero faith in their ability to respond to, much less resolve actual bugs when they are reported.
I heard the opposite. That they are very helpful in Discord and it's very good project. But its true, it was long time ago. Do you think they have changed and it's going to shit? It's a pity, because I don't know what can be a good alternative :/
@gosnooky Yeah, like you pointed out, it’s open source so that means there are a ton of feature requests and there’s no guarantee that your request is going to be prioritized over another. The fact that it doesn’t perfectly suit your use case is not ground for such a belittling comment, there are thousands of people who have successfully launched applications powered by Medusa.
you should create one using you already has the initial user postgres so you can add credentials for it like this in terminal use this command alter user postgres with password 'admin@123';
