legs and calves are very important as any other muscle groups. today was my leg day and my leg is very sore after workout now! I will surely try this next week. thank you muscle&strength
I just started getting results for calves. It took me 14 months of training them with perfect form. I thought they couldn’t grow because of genetics but it was just my form that was wrong
@hakan mavruk i would say that good form consists of full range of motion with control, slow reps and pausing at top and bottom for 2 secs. Also make sure your calves burn if they don't burn or you're at least not getting a pump you're probably using weight that is too heavy for your calves and instead you might be using assisting muscles. Although it sucks to go slow and use lighter weight it sucks even more when your calves don't grow because you're bouncing the weight. Another tip would be to concentrate on your calves while working them out and also to flex them in the mirror throughout the day. If you think about it people's biceps grow easily because everyone always flex them but who flexes their calves in the mirror or randomly throughout they day?

Here is how to build your calves. Do them every day unless they are sore. You can't skimp. You have to put in the concentration, the time and the effort. No getting on the calve machine and bouncing around to get it over with. Take the time and really dig into those muscles. They are very resilient to growth so you have to really attack them every day.
funny ppl keep mentioning steroids but I have giant calves and never juiced a day in my life. I was just fat af and lost the weight working out/running. every one has a diff body that reacts differently. Im way more vascular than my friend whos way more jacked than me. roids only help you recover faster you still have to put in the work
If you ever have trouble feeling the workout try a quick squeeze/ massage on the muscle you want to activate and start with no weights and slow and holding contractions

Yup. I know a couple bros who never exercise and have huge RIPPED calves. They were lucky and born with them. Of course.. if they would exercise them, would be even bigger and more defined. Same for biceps. I know guys who never work out and have huge arms with great peaks. Life is unfair sometimes. LOL
I know the secret to building monster calves...don't skip leg day. I should do a scared straight in the gym and show all the kids my calves that are about an inch bigger than my arms. I do arms twice per week and did legs like 3 times last year!
Steroids wont give you those calves I'm afraid. You still have to train long, hard and eat really well. Lots of people take lots of drugs and look puffy, moon faced and as though they don't train. They help, a lot, but do nothing positive without huge amounts of dedication. I suggest you don't knock the guy and focus on your own training. You can build very decent calves naturally and better calves enhanced, if everything else is in place. Good luck👍

Period Trust me what he is saying is good advice. You have to hit your calves from a standing position or one that puts your leg straight and then one that is bent at the knee so when he is doing the seated calf raise since your calves are made of two parts an inside and outside
If I don't eat protein I feel weaker in the gym . Yes chicken ,eggs , steak helps you push harder . But you have to eat carbs and veggies too . But yes the harder and heavier you push or pull the hungrier your going to get .
