Interesting phrase at 12:37 on social proof. Proverbs from the Bible say in 27:2, "Let another praise you, and not your own mouth, a stranger, and not your own lips." Theme of the video: A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches. Proverbs 22:1. God bless!
Man, I just got my authority thanks to freight broker bootcamp guidance and amazing program. I was lucky enough to know 3 veteran carriers that are ready for me to give them loads. Great video like always!!!
Hi Dennis, thank you for your informative videos on FREIGHT BROKERS. I went through almost!!almost all videos if your and really grateful what you do here for new people like us. I have one request as I am from Ontario,Canada; I was wondering if you can get some interviews from canada. So People here can have more knowledge about it. Thank you in advance. Cheers Mayank
Good Work Elio. I'm pulling for you my friend! 2 part question 1. It doesn't sound like Elio is using his own factoring company for all his payment needs and is self funding along with leveraging others factoring relationships. Is this correct? If yes, is it fair to think that if he was working with an accredited factoring company that carriers would be less hesitant to move his loads? 2. You mention in this video you have 3 shippers and have had quite a bit of success for a start up (Congratulations). Is one of these shippers the lead you mentioned in your initial interview with Dennis or all these shippers from cold calling/grinding? Elio- I look forward to your continued success and next interview. Dennis - Thanks for the continued content and motivation.
I don't think Elio is using a factoring company to factor his shipper invoices but carriers are using factoring to factor his invoices. His shippers are all from networking and cold prospecting to the best of my knowledge!
Thanks! So let's say a factoring company charges me 1 or 3 % on that invoice. Is that 3% every day or a 1 time fee of the total invoice? Assuming that the shipper pay the factoring company in 30 days. Thanks for the videos
@@FreightBrokers | Seems like there's a "serious disconnect" in the logistics industry when it comes to things like establishing credit & factoring companies working with each other.
It has no relevance to your business credit because you and your business are separate entities. Especially in startup phase. Now if you can secure a line of personal credit and you want to use that for your business feel free. Although personal credit does help significantly with your freight broker bond cost and at 820 you would get a very low rate I’d guess between $900-$1500 per year for the bond.
The key to getting shippers is the ability to build relationships. Here are some freight broker sales training videos you might like. ru-vid.com/group/PLVdiTtmLRgsMb5iSHSrcgEBYVErtxN0JR
If you follow the system Elio laid out it won’t take long but it’s impossible to answer as it will vary from broker to broker based upon how many and how quickly they move their first 20-30 loads. The faster they move their first load the faster they will build up their credit rating. Make sense?
I think they will be used in specific situations and it will be a slow evolution. The good news is, it will not have a significant negative impact on freight brokers.
Hi, we are new brokers, so to spek, been in business for a year and have no credit yet, what can I do? We have carriers, we have shippers, yet no credit score!
The roadmap is right here inside the video. My student was very specific on how he did it and since then went on to do over $1 million in sales his first year in business.
