Francisco Sampaio only so many body weight exercises you can do. They’re all showing them in different ways to do them and whichever works best for you
@mattie dude, you should be proud of yourself. You are unique. There`s no single person in the world who is worse or better than you. Just be yourself and don`t compare yourself with others. Because it`s not relevant cause we all unique. ;)
@@homeworkoutpersonaldevelop1462 this also makes me more confident. I like this comments. They closed all gyms and now I'm having a problem trying to make another workout routine without equipment. I could buy dumbells but I'm not sure if it's worth it
Yes because you're ordered to not leave. Not leaving the house without being under quarantine as ordered by whoever is just choosing to not leave the house.
Together now.....but once I got down walking 3 miles in 40 minutes, some strong boxing techniques, and a few light strength building moves, I need to start seriously building muschle.
If you have kids or younger siblings you can use them as weights. They find it entertaining too. I did this during the last hurricane. You can also do rows off a door frame.
what do you mean he doesn't assume you need equipment ? Im just going to teardown my bed sheets and break my broom while he's working out on his invincible table
Guys I can confirm it works 100% I've been doing it since July 1st and I already see progress in my chest and arms, EVEN LEGS!! Trust me guys it does work you just gotta put in the work and effort. I believe in you, don't give up! It's now August 11th, my chest is heavily defined now and everything else is doing great too, do the hard work guys Oct 28, I'm more bigger than ever. I might upload my workout list on RU-vid maybe I'm gonna be honest I stopped my workouts for a month and lost pretty much 70% of my muscle, some stuff happened and I let myself go. Eating junk food etc. About a week ago I started my training once more. I will return bigger with updates on my progress On April 8th I had a appendix surgery so I obviously had to stop. Gonna get back on the grind this coming month. It's August 6th and I'm still working out. I began on July 4th once I made sure I was 100% healed from my surgery. Since then I've made a comeback. My abs are visible again and my muscles are getting toned. It's been a month but any amount of progress is good. Especially after a surgery. Some of you haters probably think I just stopped working out but the truth is, I have a goal and I won't stop the grind. Unlike you haters, who have nothing to do but just sit around all day being keyboard warriors. 2024 August 14th Edit: I've been going to the gym guys, had to level up gains, all is good
I also recommend, if you have a pull up bar do 5 sets of chin ups and maybe 4 sets of pull ups but find out how much reps you can do before failure and set that as your workout! The pull up bar is a great replacement for the lat pull down workout, your back is going to look awesome 🔥 look up the difference between a pull up and a chin up if you don't already know!
@@Florida_man21 thanks man I have one aswell so I’m gonna try this, If you don’t mind me asking how much of a difference. Can people tell you’ve been working out? And how long of a break do you take between sets :)
@@Exultraa I take a 2 min breaks, my brother noticed that my muscles got more defined but it's gonna take more than a month to get them even more noticeable but I definitely see progress
Did this for two months a while back, got good noticiable gains that even all my family and friends recognized me getting bigger, but I fell of and haven’t been consistent with it for a whole year. Starting today, getting back to it, I’ll come back with updates, hope y’all are getting your grind in too 💪
@@imre7453 that happened to me too, even just recently. Best way to go about it is to start off doing a smaller part of the workout. His layout is a full body, I don’t even incorporate any of the leg work he adds cuz I add my own on my off days at the gym. But I started off doing the first half of the routine, maybe even cut all the workouts by one set each. This will make it easier and less time consuming. And once you keep doing it for about a couple weeks, start adding more volume and workouts to your desire.
Just finished doing this whole routine. This ain't no joke, this'll burn like a mother effer! Took me around 50 minutes to complete doing them slowly and as correct as possible. Very challenging, I love it!! Will keep you posted!
Does it burn fat I weigh about 70kgs(154 lbs) and 170 cms or do I even need to burn fat. Most of my fat is accumulated at chest, love handles and stomach
Prannoy Noel Jada all workouts burn fat, it’s your calorie intake that burns fat. Burn more calories than you are consuming daily and you will lose fat. Calories in vs calories out.
going back to this video after almost two years. this was actually the first video i watched when i decided to work out for the first time (consistently) during the start of the pandemic. i can honestly say that this guy changed my life, and i thank you for that.
I want to start being consistent with workouts at home and I wanna know if this workout will work or if im gonna lose some time so does it work if I do it 3 times a week?
@god father @god father He said if you are able to surpass around 30-40 reps per set and your failure point is actually at a number that is greater than that, then you need to increase the resistance or do another variation so that the number of times you perform a certain excercise per set gets back to that specified range, i.e. 30-40. 2:36 Specifically 3:03 I think this suffices to say that this is valid if you can actually get to that range in the first place. I am actually way weaker and my failure point is at about one third of the specified range.
Jaspal Kaur This is just my opinion, I’ve never hired a personal trainer however I used to attend free Saturday morning 3 hour classes with one and she gave me hell. The warmup was the absolute worst part because it focused on cardiovascular health and it had me running into the bathroom and puking. AND I’m a varsity soccer player and probably team captain next year. If you aren’t seeing results or feel like you aren’t getting enough support while paying, then I’d consider finding a different personal trainer if that’s still what you want to do.
Personal trainers also take into account muscle imbalances and often have a large repertoire of exercises, they also focus more on stability and recovery, which, most cookie-cutter workouts do not, and most people don't consider. GOOD TRAINERS are worth the money.
@@uncledrew2430 if you feel sick you probably haven't eaten or drunk enough, happened to me whenever i did a 20 run at the gym and forgot to bring water or hadn't eaten breakfast/lunch
@@garynico9872 chill bro. Calisthenics is a discipline that combines bodyweight workouts and skills. So, if you had a workout without skills, to me, that would be calisthenics too
Hey, I just want to leave this website here. It’s very easy and efficient; I think it’ll help you. sites.google.com/view/big-muscle-home/p%C3%A1gina-principal
Mihály Hanics no he said if ur able to get to 30 to 40 reps then it’s not hard enough and u gotta make it more difficult by adding weight or chasing the movement
Tip for you all: No matter how much you do this workout If you don't rest enough you won't gain much cause your broken muscles won't repair faster so always rest, have a good day hope this helped you :)
@god father no what he means is that you should do normal sets and if you start to struggle doing the exercise don’t stop until you reach your failure point. If you manage to do 30-50 sets without reaching your failure point than it’s time to increase the difficulty of your exercise either increasing uour body weight with like a backpack or things like that or elevating your body etc.
I talk to 5 friends on ps4 and since my PS4 is messed up I started to work out I miss them but I been wanting to work on myself for a long time now 😂 I still got my PC so I still play but for like 2 hours a day the rest is working out now
I did body weight and band resistance training at home for over a year when my anxiety was at its worst. I was able to maintain very well with a similar workout to this.
Nemanja Milovančević Any recommendations? I just started training one month ago, and I haven’t seen a (big) improvement. I know it takes time, but I think I’m doing something wrong
Scanned youtube and google for hours to find the best at home workout w/ no equipment. This is by the far the best one. Thanks for putting so much effort into this video!
These short workouts are really good. I sometimes do them in the break time during work. When you work a lot you don't always have time for gym. I am following meal plan from Next Level Diet which means I am eating clean in combination with these workouts it's really everything you need to stay in shape. Big like.
Depending on the weight of your dumbbells, some of these exercises could be better than the dumbbell exercise you would do. For instance, if you only have 10 kg dumbbells, a body row would be much better than a dumbbell row if you adjust the angle and/or add weight. Anyway, you'll find out what works better for you, good gains!
A kid in my elementary school like 8 years ago, made that exercise, at the time it was new to everyone, and our gym teacher maybe recognized it, or thought it was a good exercise, and we started doing it as an exercise. We called it The Cade after the kid who made it 😂
@@stew-03 if you're at home anyway and theres a toilet near a shower, is there really no way to clean? If anything I'd rather use a shower. I wouldn't wipe a wall with poop with a dry towel and call it clean. I'm more comfortable using water and soap
I just came across this video because I’ve recently began my journey. I was 5’7 263lbs. In January of ‘21. I’m now at 172lbs. today 12/7/21. This has been through home workouts only but I’m having trouble with gaining. Losing is easy because I had such a high bmi I guess but no matter the eating I just seem to increase my metabolism and crave more. I will try this workout and will definitely return with my results because I believe this video just saved me loads of gym hassles. I’m a father of 3 and being at home is kinda all I can do besides work. Thanks a bunch!
did this after two months of sitting at home in quarintine and eating Cheetos everyday. I used to gym before but nothing too serious. Took me an hour. Did the superset version. Felt light headed after the upper body circuit (switched lat pull down to pullups, pike pushups to handstand pushups, and biceps to chinups). Did legs in some sort of light headed mental trance. Almost threw up. Gonna try and do this thrice a week with two days of abs.
I really like how you put much more effort into making these videos with scientific background than other youtubers who make a video barely 1 day in quarantaine
Hey bro 👋🏾 I think Jeremy was spot on with the research and on paper it sounds like you’d be doing up to 40 reps each time. In practical terms my average set is only 10 reps and I’ve managed to get great results without ever lifting weights. For an example of how my workouts look, check out my 35 min Chest and tricep routine or my full bodyweight bodybuilding push day workout on my channel. Hope this helps 🙏🏾
I am already 21, have a pretty thin frame and quite lazy at times. Have been thin since I was 13. Always been anxious and scared of how I looked and never went to the gym because of it. I have put it off for too long. Even though I do modeling for some small clothing brands, I have realized how much I have always wanted a better body and how much confidence I could gain from it and it would probably improve my lifestyle etc. I am excited. This video has motivated me. I am going to try this workout and see how it goes, wish me luck. Will keep you guys up to date.
I was just like you and until i was 21, i did not think I could make a change. Then i hit the gym and it changed my life forever. I started gaining weight and started feeling more confident. I don't regret putting in the time and effort any day. You can do this! Keep hustling!
Everyone and their dogs uploading at home workout routine while I just wanted to have a Jeremy video about the subject to regain motivation and follow all his instructions. You took some time but at least you did it, thanks boss 🙏🏻 Stay safe, hope you are all taking it seriously and watch over your loved ones, sending strength and love from France 💪🏻❤️🇨🇵
A lot of fitness enthusiasts right now, as we are quarantined in home, have bought a set of dumbbells. So, it would be amazing if you can make a video on the best science based full-body or push-pull-legs program with dumbbells. I am sure a lot of people would enjoy that. As always, thanks Jeremy and keep us informed at all times !!
I also have dumbbells and a pull up bar at home. I think the way to go is to take this workout and change exercices : - real pulls ups instead of "yeezy pull ups" - DB curls and triceps extensions instead of using a door and sheet I have dip bar also, and I don't know yet which exercice I should replace with dips (maybe the pushups)
One tip: if you have a pull-up bar you can wrap your bed sheet on it, they are designed to withstand your bodyweight so it's more safe than using your door.
As a big fan of home workouts and of intermediate physique, I can't wait to begin this routine and begin my journey to a larger build. Thanks for incorporating science and research to body building
For the last 10 years I’ve trained with 100% bodyweight just to see how much muscle you can build without any weights or external sources or resistance. I’ve managed to get great results without ever lifting weights. The research in this video seems spot on, and my workouts seem to satisfy these conditions. Check out my 35 min home Chest, tricep and shoulder routine to see my results! Stay safe guys Ed
phoenix 99 Thanks for the feedback! Jeremy’s workout is also great for muscle building- this is one of the better home workout videos I’ve seen lifters do that actually can work as a decent replacement. Happy training 🙏🏾
Zygostatics damn man you’re a huge inspiration! Im trying to get into working out, and the gym seems intimidating, so this is definitely inspiring af! Quick question, how many sets would you recommend for the exercises without a set amount?
Look up the Great Gama he was a Indian wrestler who was undefeated for 50 years. He was the inspiration to many workouts for Bruce Lee. He done bodyweight exercises only. 3000 Hindu squats and 1000 push ups a day if I remember correctly.
Please Jeremy I want a favor , I was diagnosed recently with varicocele and I made some research and I found that a high intra-abdominal pressure exercise is a risk factor , so I want to customize my workout routine for my health problem , and I thought it'll be a good idea if Jeremy ( since he used always a science based approach in his videos ) made a new playlist for special workout routins for each of the frequent health issues ( like varicocele and hernia...) Please hit a like if you share the same suggestion
Ok, i’m doing it second time. Will write my result there. I’m going to train 3 times per + 2 long football trainings per week. Saturday 1. Doing it all without weights. It was difficult. Sunday 2. My muscle still hurt from last time and football training. Pike push-ups were too impossible. But i did other exercises.
Jeremy I'm so grateful you exist! Here in Italy gyms have been closed for a month so it's been hard for me to train at home without any weights, thanks so much💪❤️
TIP: Make sure you tie those bed sheets tight. If you don't, the pain you'll feel will be way more compared to doing any of these exercises to absolute failure 😂
Today I did this. Im willing to make it twice a day. Some of the things were harder than others but I feel like I squeezed pretty good. Thanks for sharing. Love from Spain!
Honestly brother I am really impressed by the info you’ve given in this video. By far its the best and easy workout plan video for beginners I’ve ever seen Hats off man to your efforts 😊
I got my diet plan from *Agoge Diet* and lost 2kg in just 10 days. So far, so good. Can't wait to see numbers on scale after 20 more days. I am so excited about this.
@god father you just add weight so it becomes harder for you. So if you do 100 push ups you need to add some weight so you can do like 20 I do it with a backpack with books in it Hope it helps?
totally fine. After all, he said to perform each set until near failure so reps vary. Near failure is the perfect amount of reps for basically everone ;)
Glad i bought a home gym years ago. Been telling ppl for years to buy home gyms and it saves money in the long run. Now everyone paying for memberships they cant use.
This is awesome. I hate when people just say to do certain exercises for no reason, but you give me trust in your advice. The explanations of what muscles each exercise targets and how to progress is really cool. 👍
