Upgraded to 7800x3d from i7 10700k and 32 gigs ddr5 ram after following your instructions, fps went from 70 to 160. Thank you so much for all the research and videos.
I got a 4070 super, amd 7 7800x3d, 32gb ddr5, and I get alot of stutter spikes. Do you think maybe because I didnt fresh wipe my computer with new install? I have tried alot of different nvidia settings and game settings but it stutters bad sometimes. Idk y.
@@DUMONTSNIPER2 I didn’t do reinstall or fresh wipe either, I would recommend bumping up/updating your DRAM frequency in BIOS and monitor cpu temps and install cpu utility drivers if necessary and make sure your gpu is master gpu.
Yeah, I currently own ITX PC just like yours for lan party or overseas business trip. Mini filled with enough gaming horsepower makes me smile everytime. Plus, if builder owns/prefer GeForce card, I would recommend A520 itx board like Gigabyte A520I AC.
One of the coolest things I’ve learned recently is that if you change your time and currency format to “English (World)” at the very start of a fresh windows install, 90% of the Microsoft bloatware is removed, including the Microsoft store. After install, you can change your region back to “English (United States)” if you need access to the store

@pyurologie I definitely appreciate that. Only thing I'm struggling with is getting my ram stable on my 7950x3d. Considering a downgrade to the 7800x3d. I have a teamgroup 8200mhz 48gb kit
I’ve been using win11 ghost spectre which removes all the bloat and bullshit. There is a win10 version too for my older machines that don’t benefit from the new task scheduler.
Sup buddy, hope ull see this comment: I used 5600X@4.7 all cores fixed for a 2 years(mobo is b550 strix-f, 1.26v, llc3 current 120%), and swaped it to 5700X3D few days ago with latest possible bios, it can handle -30(but i use -25) all cores, gives me 13800 pts in CB R23, 475Gflops in LinX 0.7.0, 5930 multi in cpu-z, temps are ok: 64C running 30 min of CB R23, 83C while LinX 0.7.0, in games it rarely reaches 55C consuming 45-55W. Everything seems fine, BUT, i expected to see solid 4.050Mhz all the time while gaming, but freqs(effective clocks are even less) jumps all around from 3500 to 3900, dont think that its good. While benchmarking it boosting freqs on all cores like expected to 4050mhz. Tried to enable\disable PSS and Global C states in bios - gives me nothing. Can problem be in my old GTX1080? I mean it do not require all the CPU power so CPU wont push clocks to it's max? I'm wondering cause using fixed 5600X i used to see 4700Mhz all the time, understanding that effective ofc can be less then 4700. Hope for your help, regards!

Thanks! Upgraded to a 7800x3d because of your videos! Have you thought about trying Revi OS and benching tarkov? I'm not a fan of bloatware so installed that with windows 11 today
awesome, love to hear it! I'm not a fan of all the bloat in Vanilla Windows either, but I also don't love how third party versions can have compatibility holes. I'll look into Revi, thanks!
Since all the map expansions my 5800x 3080 32gigs 3600 run like shit I play at -1440p zooming in is a frame killer and the lag is so bad it un ADS my scope
I have a similar PC as yours, but with an RTX 3060 6GB. My GPU's usage drops a few seconds after joining raids, going from 100-130 FPS to 60-70. Any advice about this?
Lower those texture settings, you’re not thermal throttling also? My 6600xt has 8gb of vram and it’s hitting 8gb on streets of Tarkov with medium textures alone, reserve doesn’t work on high textures either for me
@@opticalsalt2306 Lowered textures to Low, didn't work. My 3060 consumes between 3.3 and 3.5 vram so I don't think that could be the problem. CPU temp is 75 degrees and GPU 65 degrees. I have 16 GB of ram, but I use a memory cleaner. I also have a pagefile done so I can have more virtual memory.
@@dragonflaw Ah that's a shame. Eft has been running worse for me lately, and MIP streaming is kinda broken on the live client so... Worst comes to worst try disabling the oculus audio, u 100% know 16gb is probably the limiting factor, I will say it's pretty normal to get fps dips especially at the start of raid (when AI/bosses start spawning/moving around), I can BARELY load streets with 32gb of ram myself, on a 3700x, 1% lows of ~40fps so, game is just a performance hog. ALSO important to note (forgot to mention) Nvidia cards have MUCH better vram compression than AMD, so you honestly could probably get away with medium textures anyways. (any spillover goes into ur ram yada yada), Also on low end cpus the render distance does hurt performance quite a bit if you have that cranked! I really want ppl to enjoy the game but sometimes it's impossible, it sounds like you've done everything correctly if I'm reading it right. Also worth considering if they DO fix MIP streaming - it's gonna pull some cpu overhead if you enable that, hope you can get the game running man
@@opticalsalt2306 Yeah, I've tried everything since I bought the game some weeks ago. Nothing seems to work. I guess I will wait for another patch. Thanks a lot for the help friend! Best of luck enjoying the game.

@@pyurologie is the only difference in the builds going to be better more expensive parts? (Obviously the 1440 monitor) would be cool to get an explanation on that for the less PC saavy folk

@@pyurologie i see, so there wouldnt be problems due to a gpu bottleneck. I dont have the cpu yet but im planing to upgrade. I have a 2060 with 6gb VRAM. I was asking for 1080 cause a friend has one and he just bought the 7800x3d which didnt arrive yet. Do you have a test with the 2060?
hey man. do you think a 7080x3d would bottleneck a 3080 in tarkov at 3440 x 1440? I'm just wondering whether to buy the 7800x3d or 5800x3d? I'm looking for around 140fps.
3080 is one of my picks for maxed 1440 tarkov. 5800X3D and 3080 will get close 140 on most maps in 1440 but not Streets. Here's my 3080 10GB playlist: ru-vid.com/group/PLYaeRxhLbnoH1xKTZ2_X1Qm1AIF90UJKr. I have numerous videos posted with various CPUs including 7800X3D and 5800X3D in there
I have a 3080 10gb and 7800x3d. My monitor is 4k but I play with dlss quality so render res is 2560x1440. I use high textures, max performance hbao, medium ssr, decent viewing distance etc, I try to make it look good. Most maps I’m getting 120-144fps (my monitor is 144hz). Streets is more like 80-110 (low or medium textures) depending on what’s happening. Using hwinfo64 I see 80-99% gpu usage depending on the map. You also need to be mindful of running out of vram, high textures on streets is out of the question for example.
I can currently get a good deal on a 5700xt in Sweden, prices are kinda funky here. I’m gonna pair it with a 5800x3d. Do you think this will be able to pull some good numbers?
the 5700XT is still soliddd for tarkov with a good CPU ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kHnwwHLiS_Y.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GYnmL1bwdR0.html
Hey bro, I have an RTX 3080, I9 12900K and 32GB DDR5 6000, recently I've been having really bad shadow flickering, the only thing that seems to fully get rid of it is doing 4x supersampling but obviously that kills FPS, is there any fix to this? I saw you had some videos of pretty much the same specs as me and you didn't seem to have that issue, could it be monitor related maybe? I noticed in your videos you were at 1440, I run 144 HZ 1920x1080. Thanks.
I currently have a 1660 super and Ryzen 5 3600, running 1080p. I want to upgrade to the 5700x3d and I’m unsure what gpu to go for? I only play 1080p on tarkov so don’t need anything insane - any suggestions?
anything from 200-300 bucks should be good, from 6650xt - 3060 12gb - 4060 - 6700xt depends on which brand you prefer and however much you are willing to spend
I thinking you can go for 1440 in tarkov easy. I have hard descision - go for 1440 or stay on 1080 since 4060ti ia fine in 2k tarkov but not beat thing in other 2k games. I dont know is it worth it to lose some frames for image crisp?
yes easily can run 1440 FSR2.2 on high settings with this rig. Many people wanted to see a specific 1080 video though. 4060 Ti is GREAT for 1440 Tarkov with DLSS. One of my favorite cards for 1440 Tarkov because power draw is so low, highly efficient card.

Hi Pyrologie first of all insane video congrats. Im having some problems with updating my bios it wont let me update it fails to integrate it in the bios. I got a 7800x3d and a B650M GAMING X AX. And other question, Is it safe to do this changes in the bios for every pc?. thanks!
hi thank you so much! so you are running a BIOS update, but when you restart the version hasn't changed? Yes, these BIOS updates are completely safe. Undervolting can't harm your system, the only thing that can happen is if you set too low, the system won't receive enough voltage and will shut down safely. But, these settings generally work on all 5700X3D and 5800X3D, even 5600X3D

i love the 4070 and yes 7800X3D/4070 is what I consider to be meta for 1440 Tarkov right now along with 7800XT/6950XT/3080. All great choices with slight variations, but all max 1440 cards for Tarky. 4070 is highly efficient
Hard to say without knowing your memory and gpu. BUTTTT the primary factor for performance in Tarkov is CPU, and the AMD x3D is awesome price/performance.
