Mr. Sir General. Your builds have absolutely blown me away. And definitely made the game so much better. I use the vehicle transporter as a "village in the sky" as its been called. You are a legend.
kinda off topic from the video but it would be cool if they could patch up some issues with cars (give them a little more traction and better handling offroad or a better working suspension system) and if there were different types of vehicle bases (boat base, car base, plane base, etc.), and finally they could reduce the price to make power cells
Yeah a second tuning to vehicles would be nice.. honestly if they just fixed some of those lingering bugs like the sinking under tires, and flying behind your vehicle seat issues I’d be happy
I think this one is just a lil too big for me, But would be useful if someone is transferring his whole base worth of resources. I built The Stingray, And modified it with 2 more large thrusters and grand chest for a total of 4. I also moved the driver seat to the top of the ship and put a location marker flag thingy in the cockpit so now it looks like a nose and It's hand down the best looking multi purpose vehicle I've made like ever. great tutorial! I usually put my fwd thrusters on 1&2 so I can use them for turning, but I really like the idea of using them for lift like this.🤔 Mini movie was epic as always. 👌🏽 Thanks for taking the time to put these together so well.
Dude, this was exactly the kind of ship I was looking for. I developed a temporary one but I didn't like the result. But this video will help me a lot. 😅
@@generalronimus I built it probably a week ago still learning to fly it. The only thing I did different was add lights to the back and switched the right and left (My right is your left) but I love flying it I just wish Fortnite will do an update so it won't sound like it's breaking.
BR is Fortnite's bread and butter, I don't think LFN will ever touch it but if they continue to invest in content for LFN, I think it'll have a compound effect on their player retention!

That’s just an amazing build, thanks for the tutorial. I have a question though, why does it go down so slow? Every time I build something that flies the moment it touches the ground it spontaneously explodes.
So glad you’re getting good use out of the ship AND balloon engines! I’ve noticed as well, those larger ships really sail through the air with a balloon engine.. the weight keeps them from rocking, it’s freaking awesome haha
Im going to build this the stingray is amazing because of its speed and maneuverability but the heavy more for storage plus all the stuff frome the original
I’m not good enough to do those real propeller engines lmao I saw bakenos, it’s off the hook. I may consider doing the odyssey with balloon propulsion but am still a little worried about them taking that away…
I’m not certain yet nemara, people have asked for the hover tank for some time now.. I will probably work on a video for that next. But I haven’t forgotten the odyssey
Could you try to build a starwars themed aircraft that can house alot of work stations. Basically a mobile village, but without the village and the animals😢😂
Great question haha flying while viewing directly behind the vehicle is a little annoying because the camera kind of pans in and out. As you can see in the video intro and flying lessons sections, flying with the camera tilted a little below, above or at an angle worked best.

I don’t think I’ve encountered this exact issue, at least not where it wasn’t my own fault haha but the physics in LFN have never been the best so I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a lurking bug
You can honestly put whatever you want on the interior! But you have to experiment with the weight balancing.. you might need to add/remove balloons depending on what you decide to put in the cargo hold
General there is a problem with storage of you decide to put the extra grand chests on the ceiling you can’t access the back chest that’s closer to the balloons even from the outside
15:55 when you add that grand chest the chest at the bottom left is inaccessible from the inside nor the outside and this goes for chest that is in the back that’s closer to the balloons
I had to angle my focal point a little weird to reach that back corner chest but I was able to during testing, I’ll have to try it out again today and see if any adjustments are needed. Thanks for letting me know madoo!

This is great but I’ve built this thing three times now and I cannot get the flying controls to behave like the video. When using channel 1/2 to lift, the front of the ship starts to lift faster than the rest ultimately almost making it do a back flip. Also whenever I get on the ship and walk around, it sounds like the ship is crashing and eventually the landing gear breaks and I have to rebuild the whole thing again. Any tips on how to maybe fix the lifting issue?
Hey! Means a lot to know you’ve put in so much effort to build this, though I’m disappointed to hear it’s not working for you.. do you have the same amount and type of chests as shown in the video? If not, that can definitely throw the weight of the ship off requiring you to balance the weight either through adding stuff or shifting balloons
Thanks for the reply! I can’t seem to get the chests to go over the balloons upside down which is probably the issue. I have to rebuild it again because I just loaded my game up and I had the ship parked on a granite slab, and now it will not lift up at all. The forward thrusters would slowly move it but it eventually got going like a regular car and the balloons randomly kept destroying. I’ll rebuild again tonight
Ah, yeah I was worried the upside down chests might be troublesome for some. I wish I had done a test without them to recommend an alternative balloon configuration. As for the landing gear breaking, I have no idea how that’s happening to you. They’re made of frostpine and fenders so the only thing that *should* be able to break them is an epic pick axe or a brute 😂

The weight of the chests would indeed affect the ship to some degree, but it should still fly similarly as long as you keep the amount of chests even left to right/front to back... i.e don't remove all of the back chests and leave all of the front chests or it would lean forward. I hope this helps!
People have built the smaller stingray with granite or wood flooring, there’s nothing stopping you from doing it with this build as well.. just be careful if you’re using it for storage though! Would hate for you to crash the ship made of breakable materials and you lose your chests
Is there different weight for different chests? Like could I use a different chest and have the same balance? Also I feel like both the regular stingray and the heavy are back heavy... am I doing something wrong?
The chests do weigh differently, it may be by coincidence but the main four seem to get heavier as you go up in size with grand chest being the heaviest. You may have to add something extra, a granite slab or something underneath the back or less chests in the front to keep the weight even. I don’t think you’re doing anything wrong though, both of the stingrays leaned a little towards the rear!
@@generalronimus Thanks, I'll play around with it! Wasn't quite sure of the weight system. Gonna play around with the stingray heavy. Gonna try to add some thrusters that rotate and can work as vertical, forward, reverse, etc.
Oh my god the swivels are garbage, I didn’t realize that’s what you meant by rotate haha I can’t recommend them to anyone at this point. I thought using them for the tank cannon was a safe bet but even that broke the swivel yesterday during regular use. Hope they patch those asap
When i fixed the floor of my hanger that i was building it on the stupidest thing happened all the engines and ballons broke and i had to fix it and reconfigure it lol
This has happened to me! Happened on the Vehicle Transport actually… I guess if a brick placement would glue one freestanding build to another or to a grounded build, it shatters all the toy bricks (thrusters, balloons, etc.)

Hey! This is my first ship POST four channel/activated balloons. In this case, channel four is responsible for reverse and faster descent. I’ve used activated balloons for propulsion in another build, but still generally prefer thrusters for lift. Hope this answers your question!

@@generalronimus six large balloons, eighteen small balloons (all activated switch plate things) on channel 4. four large thrusters, four small thrusters on channel 3. and channels 1 and 2 are left and right steering while airborne; when i need to drive the vehicle onto a landing pad because i couldn't land it on the pad juuuuuuust right, there are power cells inside the unit. i just needed your outer shell as a template to get started.
I’m so glad you liked the Odyssey so much! Let me give it some thought.. I’ve got some other items higher on the to-do list but I’ll keep the Odyssey in mind and think of how to make it truly unique

@@generalronimus I have made a minigame that uses balloons and levers to parkour up a wall to the prize and you have to press a lever to jump up to the next level, the balloons are in a on off on off pattern so that you have to press the lever every time to unlock the next balloon. But when you press the lever the balloon underneath you turns small again and will drop you if you are standing on it.
hey i just finished making this and it doesnt turn well when i activate the turning thrusters it just tilts to the left or right and leans forward, i tried adding chests to the back to balance it out and i added a balloon to the front but neither helped im gonna review the vid one more time just to make sure tho
Hey! Thank you for taking the time to try and build this, it means a lot. Your description sounds like it could be a thruster misconfiguration.. which is a really easy mistake to make because cause there’s so dang many thrusters on this build 😂 I would recommend checking that section again.. if it’s barely turning at all, I don’t think it’s a balancing problem. It may be the existing vehicle jack bug, where no thrusters/tires work after dropping a vehicle off a jack on top of bricks. You have to log out and back in if that’s the case for you. Let me know if you’re experiencing a different bug!
Ik it worked but just in case it doesn't for someone else it might be a glitch where there's too many vehicles in the area, then just build it somewhere else. I had this glitch myself. Have a nice day😊

Curious does anyone knows how much one large balloon can lift? Trying to calculate balloons for a large airship that is about 3-4 times the size of brightbombers yellow house. Edit: A pieces/parts per balloon cheat sheet would be nice for future builds.
That would be useful! I believe I’ve seen some videos related to balloon physics and weight from both Kaboom2084 and JokerPlays, you might check out those channels and see if they’re of any use
Ugh what a mess! They take a few steps forward when it comes to these physics bugs and then a few steps back. Sorry lad, I’d stick a flag on it and abandon the ship for now… maybe it’ll start behaving correctly in the next update
I tore it apart and gonna try rebuilding it cuz I hella need it! Fun fact: After I have already broke some parts it actually got unstuck, but I didn't kinda had the ability to restore it, so yeah
Your username makes me want beers and burgers lol Did you ever get past the fender issue? There isn’t much room for error, if that front column of ancient thin flooring is too far forward it can prevent the placement of the fenders
You could put seats for sure but you’ll need to make sure it still has good weight distribution.. might have to put some additional stuff in the back to keep it weighted
You can put whatever you want in the back, doesn’t necessarily need to be that many and that type of grand chest. You’ll just want to keep the weight distribution similar whatever you decide
Hey. Im a big fan of those vehicles. I rly like the stingray variant with like box with chests on the bottom. Which variant next? Oddysey? I know im late but When this came out i was a little busy ❤ I just wish the star wars imperial bundles come again in the shop. Loved the scene at the end. Another victory to the Empire 💪🥂✨️

You are certainly welcome to do that! Since the inflatable balloons are still new, and glitchy at times I opted to leave them out of this build since one might have precious cargo onboard
My buildings are pretty simple, I need to work on my ground game 😂 there’s a lot of great builders out there that do content on building tutorials, I’ve gotten a lot of inspiration from @TheModernist as well as many craftopian content creators. Most importantly, just have fun building and trying out techniques on your own, you’ll surprise yourself 🙂
