This is such a helpful video and gets straight to the point. I was driving to town when I accidentally downshifted too soon at a curve and my engine blew up the pistons. I had to walk along the highway to pick up the bearings and piston that fell and towed my satsuma to Fleetari. Unfortunately fleetari DOES NOT repair your car and will only repair parts that are pulled out so my only choice is to tow it back home and rebuild the entire engine myself.

Very late reply, but its because it uses the same bolts as the gearbox. Loosen the top 4 gearbox bolts, then put it on and tighten them back up.

Hey my satsuma was making about 140 hp and after a dyno run it now makes 86hp and i cant figure what it is. I changed all the parts - nothing. Checked them with MSCEditor - nothing. Fuelpump is ok i dont know what to do.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong? When I put the pistons in the engine, the crank shaft decides that it don't wanna be part of the engine no more. It ejects its self out.

Nice video 👍 I have a question and i'd be very happy if you could give me an answer. I rebuild the engine with new parts and a few upgreaded parts, bc i thougt this would fix the lack of power. After i did that and went for a ride, the car was still pretty slow and weak. I couldn't figure out what was wrong, so i opend msc editor to see whats wrong. The problem: Cylinder 1 - 4 Intake -> bad Cylinder 1 - 4 exost -> bad Distributor spark timing -> bad I don't want to fix it with msc editor, so could you please tell me, how to fix this normaly? Btw sorry for the bad english

You must tune your carburator to fix the cilynder in takes, there are many tutorials in yt, for the distribuitor you must adjust it with a screwdriver and by hand scroll it until you heard something like an old school Bell when you hear it do 1 scroll back

Also btw MSC Editor might mark the intakes as bad for some decimal numbers but as long you dont hear sounds in the engine its ok but make sure that they are atleast decent or the engine might explode

If your cylinder intake and exaust valves have "bad" values according do MSC, it means the rockershaft was not tuned using the 7 clicks up method mentioned in this video. Go ahead and retune you rockershaft using this method or scroll up until you hear a ringing sound, then scroll down one click. I should mention that values different than 7 on MSCEditor are not always "bad" as it sugests. Different tunes sometimes require different values on each valve, so if you really want to get into it, grab a case of beer, a few sausages, your tool box and get to testing your Satsuma in the air field.
