Apart from using a flat ground and stake, the fans have these tiny icons in the middle. Make sure the pointy part of that icon is pointing straight up or down. Then use the R function of the ultrahand to align things from behind. If you can avoid moving link at all during the process, it makes it easier.

this is the literal winning comment. having the little thing on the fan icon pointing straight up or down means all the connection "nodes" on the setup lines up. combine this with turning off motion controls, holding R so the rotation arrows are visible and line the red one up with some marking on the ground (tarry town floor panels at the construction site) and not touching the left joystick (moving link) at all means everything lines up perfectly. if the icon on the fan is slightly rotated then it's likely you're using the 45 or 90 degree connection nodes which WILL give you the slight drifting problem. use the 0 degree connection nodes or the 180 degree nodes (i have my inclination that flipping one fan 180 degrees means both the front and back fans glue to the steering stick the exact same way) there's a bunch of stuff in the comments where people have drifting hover bikes or it's "good enough" but this is the key piece to making a perfectly straight hover bike and i hope everyone finds it.

Pro Tip: If you attach a dragon part (e.g. a scale to the back fan) your Bike pretty much won't despawn anymore if you move away from it. Dragon Parts have the highest despawn distance in the game and that value will be used as the base for the whole build. So no worries if you land your bike to go explore a cave or something, it will still be there when you get back :)

One way to make sure the fans are aligned is to simply pick the fan up with your hands and then set it down in front of you. The fan will be perfectly aligned with you and then you can use Ultrahand to pick it up and voila, the fan will stay aligned unless you rotate it.

You can tell if it's centered properly if the magic glue spot is a small dot vs anything with a thicker curved contact.

The easiest place to build one of these (if not in some kind of base) is to find a Hudson area and get all the wood off of it and you are left with a perfectly flat and clear wooden platform. Doing this in the wild on grass or anywhere else can make uneven ground and tricky visibility.

If you want to transport heavier things like the shrine crystals, build the regular bike, grab 2 extra fans and just slap them on each side of your back fan, stand the shrine crystal on the middle fan in the back and fly away. You wont even notice its there

@@FunnyTopHatFrog do you mean transporting stuff with batteries? Ive honestly never used the large batteries but i dont think they're that heavy. Worst case scenario, slapp another fan behind the back fan and stack some batteries on that. Just make sure the weight is even.

I just got Majora's Mask yesterday and found an easy way to fight Lynels. Walk in wearing the Lynel Mask (trade Bubbel Gems with Koltin) and with Tulin's avatar out. The Lynels mostly ignored me and attacked my invincible avatars.

They’re super fun to fight whenever you learn how to fight them. After some practice the only attacks you’ll really have an issue with is the flame attack and the spin attack when they have a heavier weapon. Both of those just run away from and you’re good.

The ultimate trick is going to the central underground mine and going to the area where you can find three fans and and the hoverboard. Use the lines of the tiles of the floor to alienate everything as straight as possible, while pressing R to show the red arrow. The key is to alienate the tip of the arrow with the tiles lines, and use the start of the red arrow to set the position of the fans and the controller. Its not perfect unless youre a prodigy, but i could make a hover bike that just tilts slightly to the left, but only JUST a little. Its the closest thing to a grid we have in the game

Now the reason some new players dont wanna build a "weaponized hover bike" is because the lasers are going to use a ton of battery. And some new players dont have that many zonai charges.

I built this thing a couple of months ago. Now I need to do it again...and I just can't do it. I've spent 3 hours doing this over and over, well over 100 times, and I can't even get it straight enough to stand up. I'm using the same technique I used that got it done in 3 tries before. I have no idea. Oh well...I'm not doing anything else until this is built, even if it takes another 100 hours. I'm either going to get good at doing it or I'm going to be doing nothing but building air bikes for 8+ hours/day until I do.

@@InflatableConan Yes...finally. It took me 4 hours. What I did is a build I like to call 2.5. The 2.0 hoverbike gains altitude on its own, the 3.0 loses altitude on its own (2.0 mounts the front stick on the lip of the fan, 3.0 mounts it down low) - I got nearly perfectly halfway in between so it flies level. Getting the 2 fans lined up so it flies perfectly straight is HARD, but I finally did it. I can go make a sandwich and come back and it will fly straight.

@@StormsparkPegasus So I was finally able to build my 2.0 altitude gainer. I used a stake to do it and I at last have a no drifter. A 2.5 would be nice but I'm glad I finally achieved building the 2.0. 😊

Pro tip i haven't seen in a video: hold down R1 as if you're gonna rotate it and use that arrow to center things. You can even double check if one of the fans are slightly crooked by grabbing one fan at a time, holding R1 and making sure the arrow lines up with the steering stick when tilting it upwards and downwards, turn it and check both from the front and from the back. Then grab the next fan and do the same thing. Extremely easy and fast to check

This video does not solve or help with the difficulty of trying to get this right. Its just like the other videos when the design was originally released onto the internet. I was hoping for some trick like lining up the pieces to a flat wall or something. The visual lineup is painful to repeat.

There is no perfect solution. You’re at the mercy of the ultrahand’s “snapping” feature. Lining it up with a wall does nothing here. That’s why I explained to pay attention to where the “glue” lines up and try to have it snap facing the center of the fan. Once you figure it out it’s extremely easy. Usually only takes me one or 2 tries to get it to line up perfectly.

@@MadStrike I figured there was no easier way of doing it, I just needed to hear from one of the tutorials before giving up. My eyes aren't that great and the best that I can do is a minor drift that somehow becomes a major drift in low gravity areas. I was trying to use the design to reach the three king gleeoks from the nearest floating islands, a long distance jaunt a glider would never survive in. Spent a massive time correcting my course.
