Suggestion when hitting a "dead level-up" with a priest and you don't see any good spells or passives to pick from: one might consider taking a seal spell. Not because they are very good per se (they aren't) but because they can be cast out of combat and stay for a long time, meaning you will regain the spell slot before combat starts. So it's like a free spell for your combat. Seals are "hazards". Like wall spells they don't really use your caster's accuracy, penetration etc. but only the power level at which they got cast. The rest comes from their own, like if they were the caster themselves. A bit like a summoned creature if you will. This means they are usually weaker in accuracy, penetration, duration and so on and thus are best used to target the enemies with the lowest defenses/AR in encounters (often casters themselves). But it's still a free cast basically. Cheers! PS: they can also be used to lure enemies to a certain spot. The placing does make a sound. Enemies who are near will get alerted and investigate. Before they reach (and trigger) the seal you simply cast a new one a bit nearer to you. The old seal will vanish as aoon as the new one is placed, the enemy will get luredto the new spot and so on. It's a great way to devide and conquer very difficult encounters. This also works with other spells that you can cast out of combat and which target the ground though.

Hi! Again nice video on one of my favorite games. : 👍 Being stealthed doesn't give you faster action time. Instead it lowers your recovery time by 80%. This means that casting your spells (going through the animation etc.) takes as long as usual - but your recovery time will be very short and you can follow up with a second action like a spell in no time. If your actions don't break stealth (like most buffs if they are not loud while enemies are too near, see spell description) this means you can squeeze a lot more spells into a certain time frame. This also means spells with long action time and short recovery don't profit much, while spells with short casting time and long recovery profit the most. Also things like shooting guns/arbalests is a good thing to do while stealthed because the 80% recovery reduction also applies to reloading. Generally that does indeed mean that being stealthed speeds up your action overall, especially with buffs - so no mistake there and great advice - I just wanted to nitpick a bit to make sure there's no misunderstanding. ;) Cheers!
Just a further comment for the algo - love that you’re doing this and making me reconnect with game I spent dozens of hours in. Your ability to explain and communicate complex rules is extremely helpful for me who is a visual learner and so average at math.
The great thing about priest spell selection is they can be very flexible. For example, I had always overlooked consecration but recently ran a double front (swashbuckler, berserking witch) with chanter summons, where damage was spread over multiple targets. Consecration was a big part of that comp, especially since I was mostly getting perception buffs from other sources.

Playing a lot lately due to your recent videos and made an out of the box character I'm really enjoying - priest of Wael + skald multiclass. He makes Xoti redondant, but it's working really well to have a more offensive priest who also is really resilient due to the defensive wizard spells Wael gives.
I played the original PoE but didn't finish it. Saw your vids on PoE2, gave it a shot, and I've been hooked. Been a while since a CRPG really grabbed me the way this game has. Looking forward to more of your PoE2 content.
Perfect!! Even though I've been doing ok on veteran, I know my builds aren't what they could be. Your vids help a lot. I'm absolutely loving pillars, finished the first game in a couple weeks, played it Basically every minute of spare gaming time I had. Now I'm about 20 hours into pillars two.
Love the content keep it coming! One thing that really helped me when getting into the game was giving Xoti a pistol instead of her sickle; A lot of the time I would miss when she attacked, and wouldn't be able to cast a heal or withdraw because I was recovering from an attack, but you can interrupt her reload at any time, which just gives you that flexibility
PoE1 companions are my favorite in probably any cRPG, but deadfire ones aren't bad at all either. And Xoli can become such a powerhouse... but I miss Magram, just love the priest who hates his goddess.
I generally play her pure priest also, though I would say priest tier 8 and 9 are far from essential and losing them hurts somewhat less than a mage for example. Mainly, its not wanting to delay her progression by several levels. When you get salvation of time in particular can be a big deal for a lot of parties.

@@galax12370 You know how to cheat to get unlimited money right?? I don't mean console commands, transaction tricks, or the trick in the dialogue. You just simply find the memory address where your money is store, & edit it to your heart's content. No patch or fix can NEVER prevent you from doing it on a single player game.
Divine Mark is underrated. It has will targeting, high base fire dmg with high PL scaling potential, and a debilitating deflection debuff all make it criminal that I never use this ability. I just stare at it, salivating. Good point about the Minor Avatar and the defense increase. That went right over my head (even though I hate when enemy priests cast it and become untouchable), but now I want to run a priest to make the most of it. Considering how the Least Unstable Coil’s best use for inspiration-stacking is likely from an unintended bug, I would feel weird doing it. Good thing Minor Avatar at least provides all of the defensive buffs (excluding higher-tier CON inspirations’ AR buffs). Dismissal carried me through Beast of Winter. It pairs nicely with those amulets that give bonus accuracy to spirits or vessels. I’m actually torn on level scaling since it changes the few abilities that rely on level differences e.g. Abjuration, Dismissal, and Queen’s Rule Greatsword. It’s more of a challenge, but it removes this (OP) game mechanic. That being said, I don’t really like level differences being important for their own sakes. For instance, I despised Divinity OS2’s approach to levels and power scaling, and I love how surmountable level differences are in Pillars.

It's kind of cheesy but I don't pick Minor Avatar because I just just empower Storm of Holy Fire with Least Unstable Core to get all the t3 inspirations. I think Marux Amanth really should be on your priest. 10% chance to echo is very good. Also the modal is better than hatchet. Griffon Blade/Magrans Favor/Sun and Moon for the second set for more damage or I guess Xoti's/Weyc's for defense.
Hey! I’m new to the game and I also watched your tier video. Amazing content, but I have a question. You mention you’d rather deal damage not heal damage when referencing paladin, but even in this class at early levels you skipped on what I thought would be solid heal spells. Wouldn’t the added heals be good especially early game? How do you handle situations where you take heavy damage? I’m confused 😅
any reason for not using holy meditation? tier 2 resolve party inspiration is awesome right? is it the low duration? but you would have power level to compensate for that right?
@viniciusataidedealbuquerqu2837 It's decent! Mostly I think Resolve inspirations are mediocre, but the afflictions can be crippling, so countering those are great
Remake another character, or the same character, but this time, give it insane 35 stats to all 6 attributes. Tried giving it 95, but the game revert it to 35 max. Get Cheat Engine(CE), start up POE 2. Create a new character, get to the screen with the points to distribute to your might, dexterity, perception, intelligence, etc. All 6 of your base attributes starts at 10, regardless of race. It might show as 9 or 11, that's due to the plus/minus associated with your race. In CE, load the Poe2 process. First scan for value 10 (4 bytes). Give all 6 attributes 1 point, so 11 now. (some might be 10 or 12). Scan for 11 in CE. Make all attributes 12 now. Scan for 12. Repeat for 13 & 14. If you run out of points, then reduce all 6 attributes by 1, say from 14 to 13. Scan for 13, then 12, then 11. This will eventually wittle down the number of hits to 12 memory addresses. Select all of them, copy them to the window at the bottom in CE. Double left click on the number 12, & change it to 35. Repeat for the other 5 attributes. In POE 1, my wiz had all 99 stats. He was 1 shotting everything at level 1. You could change money, rare ingredients as well. Use the same process.
I'm a little confused as you say spend all points in religion to buff her sickle, and then pick unarmed training to buff her fists because it's the best option?
