Dude I never comment on any videos I watch, ever. But can’t tell you how glad I am to see this video show up on my feed. I was watching your videos back in 2016 and learned all the basics of fitness and nutrition from you. So happy to see you back. Please don’t vanish or stop this time around.
Years ago I bought your program and it set me on a path of caring about my health and fitness that I still follow today. I'm so happy to see you back dude.
I have to say, this is the perfect beginner training explanation I've ever seen. I wish this video existed 5 years ago when i started at the gym. Would have saved me so much time with trial and error going through the millions of videos online from thousands of fitness influencers. I'll be sure to share this video whenever one of my friends wants to start hitting the gym.
There is no "beginner" training explanation. You figure out muscle groups, get exercises for them (nothing fancy or too much), do full body training 2 or 3 times a week and watch your diet a bit. And that's all there is to working out.
When a video is packed with information, backed up by science, >20 minutes long, the creator doesn't ask you to like and subscribe, instead refers to a credible other creator and indeed hasn't published another video in a year ... you know you came to the right place. This video is enough for hours, days, weeks, months perhaps even years of training. It doesn't lead to years of watching youtube videos. This is high quality information and ironically should get the kind of revenue the others are making with their addictive content provision.
where can i find the Note part for iPhone to copy past ? i do it myself but i do it basics i will be happy to have the "Check" point n stuff its great to visualize fast ! thanks
Missed you man, you inspired me to start self-improvement and eventually become a PT and a physiotherapist. I've been working on this field since 2016, after consuming a bunch of your videos. I'm happy to see you back bro, keeo doing what you're doing and we will support you!
Video fails to explain how thin people can be stronger than big muscled ones. I've seen this too many times, so much that I don't think anyone making these workout videos understands anything
Anatoly is an example There is much more to strength then just muscle size or maximum weight lifted or volume Why exactly thin people can be much much stronger than these gym bubbly guys, no science can explain lol
Thanks for everything Radu , I am lanky built like you and I started watching you when i was a kid . Just immense love and respect for you . Hope this little comment makes you realise the amount of contribution you make in our lives
I MISSED YOU!!!! You have the best physique out of all fitness youtubers. Not too small, not too big, perfect balance. You are highly knowledgable and make some of the best youtube videos, informative, entertaining and high quality. You're a role model to many people! Greetings from the Caribbean!! bucuros să te am înapoi
Just started my mid-age serious training. This has to be the damn best video I’ve seen. Covering those points that have never been mentioned anywhere else.
LET"S GOOOOOO! This video is of aspirational quality my dude. Knowing how much work went into this made me appreciate all the little details. You guys rock and I can't wait for the other parts to come out too. 😍
dude so good to see you back and i promise you i am just going back to gym after a break can't tell how much i needed this video thanks and i hope you are doing well in life
Man I was scrolling through the comments to see if anyone else had notice how this video completely neglects diet's role... until seeing there's an entire part 2 video on it! Great content, I love the breakdown of types of basic lifts that target gross motor groups!
Radu is back!!! I literally started watching your videos in high school and now this year im graduating college. IMO this is the best fitness channel out there
Damn dude this video is once again so good! Good feeling as a beginner (half year training) that I’m tracking in notes and working with progressive overload. Hitting most of these points succesfully and noticing good muscle growth! Going to focus on going to failure more and sometimes trying to completely go for failure. Feels like the best thing to increase on right now.
Thanks bro, this was really really useful. I'm now in the progress to lose weight first going from 77kg to 72kg. After that, I want to increase that same weight, but with muscle. This was really helpful so far!
It's so good to have you back! And this collab with Jeff I have been wishing for, for so long! Can't wait to watch part 2 and get hyped for some solid gains again!
Salutare ! Foarte bun videoclipul, sună a provocare să comprimi esențialul cunoștiințelor fitness în doar 24 de min. , dar văd că ai reușit și ai făcut treabă f f bună . Mă bucur să văd că te-ai reîntors și keep up the good work , esti motivație mare.
Very thankful! ive been following sir jeffs videos for a year now and i could say that all of his science based works are freakin amazing and helpful! this collaboration is sick! hope to see more of this in the future. thanks alot!
Great video. Thanks man! Feeling good about going to the gym today. I've just had the simple idea of keeping a log of my weights and improving them systematically, always pushing a slightly higher weight (those 1.25kg discs become handy). I don't go super scientific with my eating, I just eat like a normal person but no sugar junk and I try to keep a hefty amount of protein and carbs and fats going on. So far getting quite good results in the 6 months I've gone to the gym again actively (I was active for years in 2014-2018, now getting back at it).
This is a gem!!! lots of thanks ! I understand mostly everything said in the video and prepared a short not on where I stand and how much do I need to lift to put on 5 kg, This has really given me a goal to chase. I am so grateful Thanks again
This is exactly what I've been looking for. Nothing has been able to tell me what I should be aiming for or where to start or the theory behind it, I just get given exercise routines that are either too easy or too difficult with no explanation of what progress looks like, (aim for 6-12 reps, increase weight, if not increase rep, if not increase set, push to within 0-3 rep of failure) Thankyou, you rule
Very very interesting video. Learned quite a bit. Definitely did not know about the RIR concept till now. If I would prematurely stop an exercise while still having a few reps in the bag, I would typically feel bad about it - but did not know it is something that I can actually incorporate into the routine! Thanks a lot for this!
Love your videos, and coming from a gym newb that got stuck early on I can understand why now cuz I would be the one to raise weight but lower reps and call it progress... A lot of info and sample workouts that many wouldn't do for free I appreciate it a ton!
so well informed, backed up with proper research and connects the knowledge of science to understand and help build muscles is the type of instructional video I needed. Not just "oh do this workout for 3 sets etc for this amount of weight for this amount of reps etc". This video deserves all the views and likes it gets
This video was extremely useful, but I'm wondering: could you do a similar one (you don't have to cover theoretical concepts already covered here) using only bodyweight? I'd love to know what the equivalence for the RM/weights in general would be for bodyweight.
Yes, it's possible, but harder (IMHO), takes more time and needs some creative approach (or trainers). For example, you can look at ballet dancers and their legs, they work with their own body weight (for example, 3 hours per day, 6 days per week). Or gymnasts. But it takes hours daily. As for me, I don't want to spend so much time on this, that's why I prefer gym and 1 hour/day, 4 days/week.
Holy s**t Radu and Jeff know each other! Right now I'm taking Radu's "The Unstoppable Discipline Program" and I'm really loving it, it's changing my life in a positive way in the time I need it most
When adding up sets per muscle, would 3 sets of bench press count as 3 sets of tricep exercises? I know triceps aren’t the focus of the exercise but they do some work. Just trying to figure out how many times a week I should be doing isolation movements on top of compounds. Thanks.
Those guys are full of shit. Building 5kg of muscle can take close to a year or even longer. Unless you’re on gear (steroids), nobody is putting on 10lbs of muscle in 3-5 months.
If I had a buddy who wanted to get into working out and asked me for help, I would simply send them this video. Has everything needed to know for a great start.
It used to be so hard to find resources for skinny guy muscle building that I’ve had to go my own way. But I’m happy to see that’s changing with great videos like these
It's crazy how I was checking Nippard's work and recommending you to a friend as a long gone youtuber who I started learning with in my fitness journey and just when I was going to look for your channel to send him a video THIS INCREDIBLE COMEBACK shows up in my YT feed, crazy huh? So happy to see you back Radu!
IM SO GLAD I FOUND THIS VIDEO. OMGGGG It answered all my questions. 1. what indicator to use which helps you know that u are progressing. 2. why beginners may progress without gaining much weight.
It’s so nice to watch a video that shows me how “x” happens and what’s the best way to achieve “y” based on “z”, instead of “GAIN 50 LBS OF MUSCLE DOING THIS ONE EXERCISE 😱😱”. 10/10 great video!
this video got it all. im surprised with that quality content. damn that gave me no excuses. im blown away with perfectly sliced pieces of correct gourmet-like information. this was like the talk u have after a 5-Star Meal with the cook. the cherry on top. thanks men!
