With all these nice playhouse costing easily$1,000+, I set out to make my own for the kiddos. Painted Mangle from Robozuna and Kiki & Miu Miu from Baby Bus. Hope y'all enjoy watching it.
It is amazing, I want to build one for my girl too, but I do not how to choose the material, can you please include all the material name, so I can go buy them and make a house for my daughter!!! Please!!!!! And the measurements of the house please!!!!!
I am going to build a custom playhouse / play place for my daughter. I am going to make it modular, so I can expand it as she gets older, renovate it if needed, all with ease of transport in mind if/when we decide to move. I have never done anything like this before, so wish me luck 🤣 🤣 🤣
@@bowx I am definitely going to do a video on it. Thank you for the boost of confidence! I created an email for my daughter a few months before she was born, and have been sending her videos, pictures, messages, etc. And on her 18th birthday, she will get the password for it. The play place will be one of the videos, but I will also upload the video(s) to this channel, and I will make sure to let you know once it's up!
I made my own shack outside for 50 dollars in 2 by 4s and some osb for around 70 dollars. I sleep in it daily and dug a trench from our electric pole and I have outlits and even installed an ac unit lol
Hey, I honestly don't remember, but most of the frame work was 2x4, the floors and roof was plywood, and the walls were just fence pickets. I found the fence pickets to be most affordable and since it is meant to be outside, it's already weather resistant. Hope that helps
BAO hoang wow cool we try to make a playhouse and did it need a big place to make it we love it if it is a big place needed it is fine we will make another ok ❤️❤️☺️☺️☺️and please 🙏🙏 tell us how many days needed to finish it 😯😯
Awesome design! I think I'm gonna build one of these for my kiddos. A couple questions, were those L brackets you used to connect the framing together? You gave the width and length, whats your height or how long were your vertical support beams? Thanks in Advanced!
Hey there, yes the were L brackets. I don't know the exact length, but i was about 1.5inches on each half. The entire height not including the top rails is about 4.5ft, and with the rails is 6ft. Our HOA is ery strict here and did not want anything taller than the fence, and the fence is 6ft tall. Hope that helps.
Hello! I love this little club house, I’m trying to build one for inside the house for a bed, is the middle support on the inside essential, or could more beams across the roof support it enough?
For the fence pickets I've seen it range, upwards to about $1.50 or so, but looks like Lowes has it form $1.17 right now. I put the link in below www.lowes.com/pd/Common-1-in-x-4-in-x-6-ft-Actual-0-625-in-x-3-5-in-x-6-ft-Green-Southern-Yellow-Pine-Dog-Ear-Wood-Fence-Picket/4323547 For the floor, I used 3/8 inch thick, 4x8ft plywood and reinforce it with 2x4 underneath it. I think when I made it costs in the high teens. Lowes has it now for $21 each www.lowes.com/pd/Plytanium-3-8-CAT-PS1-09-Square-Structural-Plywood-Pine-Application-as-4-x-8/1000068943 I hope that helps
I had a rough sketch, but nothing too detailed. Mainly the width and height of the building and where the stairs were going to be. I'm not a carpenter by trade by any means, so I had to learn along the way as well.
