*I bought these and used them at the river where I get snags often they have done a **enjoyable.fishing** recommend great job of not breaking along with some strong line I purchased as well. They are super durable and easy to use.*
went to your site, prices are ridiculous. I can buy 2 complete 100lbs florocarbon musky leaders for $10.00 CDN at Canadian Tire VS 1 snap swivel at your webstore for $9.49 US plus shipping...just a single snap swivel!
i agree with you the guy in the video obviously isn't experienced, swivel at one end and a lock at the other . I agree with you about the stay lock snap, they will never open , and are so durable. i mean also you shouldent really use nylon for pike either tbh, 7 strand wire is alot better, plastic coated i find if you wrap it up its got alot of memory which isnt good. I prefer solid steel or titatium but titanium is so expensive but durable. Glad there our some people who dont believe everything they see on a vidoe, ive seen people fish for pike with flurocarbon leaders of literaly 10lb saying they saw it in a vidoe , a guy had a fluro leader or something ridiculous. Or they say oh ive caught a pike before without a trace so i dont need one. Ive seen at least 5 youtube fisherman who have gone pike fishing without a trace, or any knowledge of pike handling. Saw one guy not use a trace and when i said about it, he was arragonant and rude saying he knows but he didnt have one at the time. well dont go then. saw a guy fish for pike, didnt know how to handle it, didnt have a trace either, dropped the pike in the air, didnt know how to chin it . pretty much killed the thing becuase of mis handling. Alot of bass anglers dont seem to know anything about pike and g fishing for them without doing any research . Im a uk fisherman and everyone i know love pike and treat them with the so much respect. well thats my rant over.
Firstly why do you need 2 sleeve? Secondly the way you are crimping is wrong! And thirdly... if you're going to light up the end, light it into a ball before crimping...
everytime ethis vidoe pops up in recommended it frustrates me , just noticed he also damages the main mono when lighting the tag end, if u light a tag end you should use ur fingers to cover he main line/ leader to prevent damage.
