Hi guys! Today I'll be walking you guys through 5 BRAND NEW LSAT bullet journal trackers! These habit trackers are designed to track:
Drilling consistency
Logical reasoning (LR) consistency
Logic game (LG) consistency
Reading comprehension (RC) consistency
LSAT score improvement and section improvement
LSAT question types
This has been my MOST highly requested video since the release of HOW TO STUDY (Effectively) FOR THE LSAT | How I Scored a 175. Link here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XdUexJelpxQ.html. Thank you all for being so patient with the release of this video. Fun fact, this video is a time-lapse of over 4 HOURS of 4K footage (editing this project gave my laptop several breakdowns haha). I hope you guys enjoy and I can't wait to see your bullet journals. Let's get planning!
Love, Babs

Hi! I have watched all of your videos (some of them more than once) and you provide some of the best advice for law school applications on this platform by far :)) Could you create a video on some activities/extracurriculars that undergraduate students can get involved in that may impress law schools but more importantly, prepare students for the intensities of law school?
@BanterwithBabs
@BanterwithBabs 3 года назад
Hi Shreya! Thank you for your kind feedback! There are SO many things you can do during undergrad to impress law school admissions committees, so I don't want to give a definitive list. But the things on my resume that I believe made me stand out were: 1) multiple publications in which I was 1st author 2) professional experience (internships and work experience) 3) executive positions for community-service based clubs 4) prestigious scholarships Again, this list isn't the end all be all but I know it worked for me! :) Best, Babs

Hello Babs, I recently came across your videos and have enjoyed them thus far. They have given me additional confidence going into my future LSATs. My question to you is, what were your most helpful RC drills? Comparing your data to my own your kicking my ass so to speak in RC. Furthermore, did your consistency ever normalize with RC? I could not tell based on the dates being scattered. I've gotten a minus 1 on RC before but its the consistency that plagues me. Thank you
@BanterwithBabs
@BanterwithBabs 2 года назад
Hi Ryan! I'm so happy to hear my videos have been of use to you. Your question about RC is a great question-I personally think RC is the hardest section of the LSAT to master long term. Here some tips that helped me get better over time: 1) Highlight or underline as you read I found that my reading speed increased significantly when I began to highlight. Instead of worrying about committing all the facts in a passage to memory, I reduced my workload by highlighting what I found important. This also helped me save time when I needed to look back to the passage for quick fact references. The digital LSAT has a highlight function for a reason-use it to your advantage! 2) Drill by RC "subject-matter" What has been most helpful for me in RC is drilling subject categories. For example, I'll drill art RC passages one day, and then switch the science RC passages the next day. This helped me get a feel for the overarching trends on different RC subject types. It boosted my confidence, gave me a better sense of what each type of passage is looking for, and helped me identify my subject-specific weaknesses. For example, I typically performed high on science passages (I have a science background so this made sense), but I struggled the most with art RC passages. Once I figured this out I adjusted my RC strategy to where I skipped the art RC passage if I was struggling and saved it for last. 3) Consistency Finally, RC is the least consistent section because every passage is unique. It can be a shot in the dark on test day and the only way to get better is to prepare for the worst by reading as many example passages as possible. My RC consistency was sporadic up until the end, but my drills gave my skills enough of a safety net to where I knew I wouldn't get below a certain number of questions right. You WILL get better, it just takes time. Hope this helps! Babs
@ryanhodgett368
@ryanhodgett368 2 года назад
@@BanterwithBabs Thank you for taking the time to reply! I'll implement passage type focused studies into my routine! Reflecting on it I'm similar in that my performance varies by passage type.
