Very Nice. I bought an RCA CD Recorder and Copier from my local thrift store for $20 a few months ago. It's not in as good of shape as yours, but it works. I will try and do a video about it when I can.
I had one it only worked with the Maxwell discs and stopped working forever after 6 months this was in 2001and my parents payed hundreds for this unit from radioshack they wouldn't let us return it we gave it to my cousin and he never got it to work how this one is still functioning is beyond me thank god for computer burners
I have a slightly different model but exactly the same feature's on the front, so now to give it a try.... >>>Teac Welltech 20666 twin CD player recorder Pro.
I too bought one from a thrift shop a few months ago. I originally tried using a blank computer CD-R disk but found out it requires music CD-R disks that luckily was able to purchase from a office supply store.
Do you select "all" if you want to record the entire disc and "1" if you are doing it track by track (mix disc)? Is that what Sync 1/ALL button is for?
I have a sony cd500 recorder model think it finally took a dump i took it part to see why when i push the button to open it nothing happens on the 5 tray side the blank disc side opens fine may take it to sony to have it repaired when it was working it worked great hopefully they can fix it for no more then 200$ i see the only recorders they sell today are only available by Teac which doesnt have best reviews @ 3.1 stars but its going for 229$ other places 279$ so need decide whether buy new unit for same price would cost to have older unite repaired.
You need to route the sound through a pre amp/dj mixer then to your stereo, then route that into the Teac. That way you can adjust the audio levels before it goes to the cd recorder. The bare bones audio level of your turntable isn’t enough for the cd recorder. The dj mixer pre amp is key, especially if you want the correct sound levels & eq for your sound system or any other.
Could you help me I can't find the user manual of the only user manual, no service manual or diagram, could you pass it to me or where to download the pdf of the user manual thank you urgently; I can not find it anywhere and most of the sites I have opened send me to download free vpn express I can not download any could you give me the link to download the user manual (Operations Manual) I want to know what formats of cd can read mp3 cd cdrw etc etc thank you Rw-D250
Does this player let u use a cd ,like maybe cd discs for computers ,or does it have to say digital audio ,i know theere alll digital but theres a difference. I have this player but needs fixed. I use to have a sony and the only discs it worked in is the discs that say digital auto
The key to using the Teac is , the Cd’s you buy, should be labeled “ Digital Audio “ . Not all blank Cd’s are the same. Wether you use a ReWritable Cd or a Cd-R to record it must have/be “ Digital Audio “ on the label . Then, in order for it to be played on any other system, that disc must be “ Finalized “ after you record it. ReWritable disc’s can be “Unfinalized” and erased, Cd-R’s cannot be erased . Key, again is the “ Digital Audio “ Mp3 , as long as the disc is Finalized , should play fine .
According to my owners manual for the Teac, the Cd’s that you have to use are Cd “ Digital Audio “ ReWritable or, Cd “ Digital Audio “ Recordable . Notice the “ Digital Audio “ in the labeling when you buy the blank Cd’s for use. A regular recordable Cd will not work nor will a regular Rewritable Cd . It must say “ Digital Audio “ on the label . You can then record to your hearts content, any audio Cd , Cd album you want .
I have one that has worked perfectly for 20 years or more until recently. Now, the play back cd drawer stays closed and won’t open, and the recorder/player drawer won’t close. I’ve opened it up but don’t see anything obvious causing the problem. Suggestions anyone on how to fix it or should i get a professional to do it ?
The open/close belts have gone bad. With a little skill, you can replace them yourself. Once the drawer is open (you will have to manually open it) the belts are visible underneath the drawers.
I managed to get’er working again, after replacing the bands under the shelf, but , now , the screen won’t reset . I works ( thank God) but , without the proper screen display, i can’t record anything. Maybe one of the ribbons isn’t connected right ? Or something like that ? Thank you for the reply btw . 😁
Price. The "audio" version was the industry attempting to charge more in case you were being naughty and were copying pre-recorded discs. The Audio discs have a code on them that identifies it as such.
Teac recorders use Cd “ Digital Audio “ ReWritable or Recordable Cd’s . The key is “ Digital Audio “ label on the cd’s you buy . Not all blank the blank Cd’s you buy are equal. Check the label before you buy.
