Thank you! this helped a lot! my mom has a client who wants a slideshow on a disc, so my mom got me to do it, when i tried doing it myself it didnt work. i followed the directions in the tutorial and it worked! thanks
id like to say if you are having issues with dvdstyler double check that everything you uploaded is in the format you need forsome reason you can change each peice of media you want to burn
im glad i could help personly ive burned through 10 disks trying to solve this so im glad i could spare someone the dvds and this kinda prooves the app devs made a weird and a bit quirky decision lol @@rispace11
Thanks for the helpful video and I am DEFINITELY not watching this so I can make a random unsettling video and burn it on a disc then sneak it into a walmart isle. Totally am not doing that at all 😳
Thanks for the video. I am trying this and it works out well. The only problem is when it gets burned onto a disk the videos are blurry. I don’t know what to do.
Is there any DVD making software that allows adding a Settings menu? I know that ConvertXtoDVD7 has it, and is the one I've been using, but I don't like how my DVDs end up looking. The quality ends up decreasing for some reason.
Dear all, I am trying to use DVD Styler on a Mac but it seems to be not working: every time I try to load a video the software crashes. I have tried with .m2v mpg and mov (with h264 and prores). I have also posted my problem on the proper forum but no one has replied.
Hi Is it possible to put a language selection option in the settings menu? And is it possible to put a background video instead of selecting a background image in the main menu? I would love an answer thanks
PLEASE HELP I’VE BEEN HAVING AN ISSUE GIVING ME AN ERROR MESSAGE DURING THE BURNING PROCESS “ERR: No VOBUs found, Failed” THIS HAS BEEN A REOCCURRING PROBLEM FOR THE PAST WEEK
I authored a DVD with one film with several chapters. Unfortunately the disc won' t start with the VMGM menu bit with the first chapter menu. Whats wrong?
Anyone getting that error message and force shut down make sure you downloaded the right version of the software. I uninstalled and downloaded a different one and the error message didn’t pop up but I didn’t get to use the old save because it still didn’t work. Gotta make a new one.
Hi I don't know if you still reply to these comments but I'll try. I'm having a hard time try to copy a movie onto the blank disk. If there's anyway you can help me I would appreciate it🥺
i kinda have the same problem - out of 4 projects with the same overall settings only the first was sucessful. After that I was able to burn 1 more via the windows explorer - the second try it failed again. though out of the 3 failed discs you could see that something was written on there. I even checked the functionalities before burning ^^
Hi Danmartin50. Thanks for the comment! I would recommend a dual layer dvd-r disc if you are planning to burn bigger files. I'm not sure if DVDStyler works with Blu-Ray discs.
You're kinda wrong there. DVD-R is the recordable format, while DVD-RW/DVD+R is the rewritable/erasable format. Once you burn something onto a -R disk, it can't be erased, unlike -RW/+R.
The main difference between the DVD+R and DVD-R formats is the technique used to determine the location of data on the disc. DVD-R discs use “land prepits,” which are little marks on the grooves of the disc, to determine the laser position. DVD+R discs don’t have land prepits; instead, they measure the “wobble frequency” as the laser processes the disc. In short, dvd-r and +r are basically the same and no dvd+r are NOT rewritable for anyone who may be looking for that. Only DVDs that say 👉DVD-RW/DVD+RW 👈 are rewritable disc's.
Hi Jared. Can you try playing the dvd disc on your computer and see if there is audio? In DVDstyler, you can right-click on your video and check on the properties settings. You should see information about the audio format of your video? Is it showing as an .ac3 format?
@@TechThatDoesntByte Actually I managed a work around. I used multiple discs to record things. It's doing okay. It was probably the file size causing the audio to not show up. I hear that DVDstyler can be pretty buggy so maybe the multiple files I put in caused it to glitch out. It wasn't a disc issue it was the software. But thank you for the advice though. I'll check the audio track next time to see if it makes a difference.
@@TechThatDoesntByte what would happen if it's not in ac3 format? would i have to change it ? i might plan on trying to put around a lot of vids on dvd again and would i have to either change the audio to ac3 or change it into another one. I would like step by step instructions for this. just reply and i'll follow. thanks. :)
@@TechThatDoesntByte Sorry if i talked too much. it's just that i have a lot to learn about dvdstyler and burning discs with it and such. have a good day.
@@TechThatDoesntByte - Why don't you show how to bring our own menus in? Maybe we don't want elementary school menus with little hearts and unicorns and rainbows. Adobe Encore was the best for menus.
Hi Xwing. It depends on the original source of your video. I believe DVDstyler converts the video into a mpg2 format, which is standard for a DVD. If your video is an mp4 (HD video) then it will have to transcode that mp4 into a mp2 format.
