This does work fine for Macbook pro M1, yet it's incredibly inconvenient and a pain when you have thousands of songs in your library. While I'm sure I won't need to do it often in the streaming/digital transfer age, it's super weird to me that doing this on iTunes with a PC is so much easier and less of a headache.

hello whenever i swith the format over to audio cd it tells me I have to insert a blank cd even tho I have one in but when its on the data cd it shows my cd. pls help

I'm kind of pissed, because i upgraded my car stereo to a newer model a 2016 to a 2022 and all my burned cd won't play, or it can play a disc but cannot skip to next track. It's like they went backwards with tech and limited what it can play.....i guess all my cd's are burned in high speed back in the days.

are the songs from Apple Music? I think it only works if you have bought the songs on iTunes or downloaded the files

So I have downloaded 2 separate programs for apple Music to remove the DRM of the track along with a Tidal program to convert to audio. When I play my disc on my Blu ray player I get audio. But I put disc into a CD player at an audio store and it would not play! It said disc was unreadable. Why after I have converted the tracks and burned them to a CD do they only get recognized by my Panasonic 4K Blu Ray player and my Mac burner but not on other devices. Back when it was just iTunes it was easy to burn songs to disc. But now I have converted tracks and they just never seem to finalize disc properly. Any idea why this is occurring?

Because if you use mp3 files you have to have a CD player that can read mp3

I have cds that I want to burn to mp3 to keep on an external hard drive. The cds are listed as AIFF files but I would like to copy as mp3s to save space. Is that possible?

Hi Jason. You can rip the cd's with the AIFF files and convert them to mp3's. What operating system are you using? Windows or MacOS?

Does this work for Windows 11? I'm able to follow everything in the video up until I get to where I click the 'burn' button, then it opens the file folder of the CD and ejects it

My CD was burned with MP3 files and that didn’t play in my CD player so I tried WAV and neither worked please help I’m so sad 😔

Hi Saad. I recommend trying to burn the cd again but this time use a lower writing speed. If that doesn't work you might need to try a different brand of cd-r.

still works in 2024 with macOS Sonoma. I cant test the Windows method as I don't have a Windows computer of any kind so any Windows users reply to me and tell me if it worked for you or not

I used an external brand for this video, but I have also used the apple superdrive to burn CD's in the past.

Nope. Once you have burned your CD you can play it with any CD player without waiting.

Unless you're still using a dial-up modem, why would anyone want to waste their time with crappy MP3s? Especially as source files for a CD with hopefully better resolution!!
