OK. This knocking sound existed since we bought 'Pearl Dragon' (AKA Porschero) a year ago. After the recent Nolathane polyurethane front differential bushing replacement, lower A-Arm ball joint, and shock absorber bushings, • HOW TO: FRONT DIFFEREN... the sound seemed to have gone. However, during a family trip to the rocky river three days ago, it came back with a vengeance. I had ENOUGH.
Went to one small shop where they decided their 10am pre-lunch was more important than a job. Blessing in disguise...found the BUSHING MASTER! If you are anywhere around Angat, Bulacan, THIS is your bushing guy. Significant piece of information left out of video in error...this job took 1.5 hours and cost 1000Pesos or about $20. This is about 3 times an average day's pay in Angat, so good day for him and Porschero is happily back in business. I love a good win/win.
Oh....and while your bushings are being masterfully cut and polished, get the best fried chicken you can buy in Bulacan. He has JUST the right amount of calamansi..MA SARAP! : / zekes-fried-chicken-10...

Feliz Pajero-ing.

After traveling with a family of 5, 1500kms, I noticed the knocking sound and inspected. We could ALL HAVE BEEN DEAD. This 'guy' risked the lives of three adults and two children to save a few pesos on hardware. INSANE. WOW! I think replacing the lower ball joint and such made the bushing weakness less noticeable. I think it was our last trip to the river (very large rocks) that finished OFF the remains of that forward bushing. After that, the problem was OBVIOUS! While driving, always having to correct the steering wheel when going straight. You are 100% correct! ;-)
