thats great to hear. on the other channel ive had a couple of them say it doesnt work...lol but those guy had bikes several years old not brand new. so its a totally different ball game. let them try 500 klm around town/new motor and in those days it was hot and rough idling in 10 klm. motor wouldnt kick and it was a plug pulll...lol yeah it was just plain being desperate when i accidently thought of trying that double head steady move. still recall how it took the footpeg shakes out of that trials 500 in just one quick move. i plan to use this channel now to do my bike reviews on all the different new bikes ive bought. got some good stuff to air too.so cant use it on other channel as they expect mainly the one ride only... so these clips all go to randonrides now and i should be covered. plus some good stuff coming in tips too and when i break down the bike info on various years. all the best!

Cheers, Warro. Hitchcocks are now offering extra long bolts for the double head steady. But you are the original channel for that idea. I suggested it to Bullet Wanderer when his snapped, and he put one on.

@@MrMomo182 it was sheer luck i tried that move or just outright frustration but it worked and worked extremely well. i'd much rather do that than fit the vibration plate. actually did that mod on 3 different bikes...all c5's i like the double head steady idea better. all the best!

thanks. yeah its a bit cold here. i only had one himalayan so never touched it. the classic 500's well i did give them a bit of a workout in 500 and a couple of 350's too i added bolt ons to most of them. i do like the 350 reborns too. had some very good rides on those. hard bike to beat for the value of smiles per miles all the best!

i will put stuff on the other but i plan to upload owners thoughts on the bikes ive had here. plus other stuff. so my guess is it will be here first in detail and maybe a shrt verson elsewhere. so this will be the best option here all the best!

great to hear. the sweet spot for these is roughly 2014 to 2016. in my next clip and i go into more detail why?. all the best with your new ride. check that plug and if its not and ngk - toss it immediately....lol and i bet it runs even better.

@@RandomRides-z1n I think luck was on my side. I had heard of the frame cracks but didn't know until watching your video this evening exactly where to look. I am happy to report that there are no cracks at this time. Thank you for the good info! Also this one seems to be on the low end of the vibratory scale. At a normal cruising speed in a proper gear it is quite smooth. I changed the oil very soon after bringing it home and was surprised to drain a gallon of oil out!

@@daveswanson6066 the cracks usually appear in some bikes after higher klm mileage and more so in the C5's. on the oil side do your oil check in the exact spot every time as the bike will give a different reading in different spots- and on centre stand too. they hold about 2.25 litres of oil. good idea too to check your air filter as bikes with lots of oil cough it up and soil the filter. oil filter are cheap if you buy in packs of 10 from ebay via india. in your case id be more inclined to run it 300 miles drop the oil and filter and then run it. i always used semi-synthetic 10w-50 oil in pentrite in all the bikes and had no issues. same too in the hunter/the classic 350 reborn.interceptors and himalayan. same oil the lot no issues. i was also the first 10 years back to run eatch magnet on sump plug to pick up metal floating about in the oil. works great. n22 magnet via ebay. ran the same on the honda ct125 trails too. enjoy the ride

@@RandomRides-z1n thanks again for the advice. I replaced the air filter right away, It has your recommended NGK also. I will take your advice on the early oil change. I have more powerful bikes in the stable, but there is something special about this Bullet that endears itself.

yeah i think the uce is a totally different motor so that plug would NOT be for your bike but if you said you had a C5/B5 or G5 i would recommend that plug. best of all you would come back and tell me how well it runs too. i had an iron barrel 500 right side gear change. best exhaust note of all the enfields plus a very slow idling bike too all the best!

great to hear. 12 years back every-one had an idea on which plug would stop the fouling best on the running in period. these 500 were a real terror and highly frustrating too. once fouled on the run in ...near impossible to get them going and it was a plug pull and clean. once that guy sorted out the plug side -totally different beast to ride. my thoughts-the only people who objrct are those who don't know! all the best!

i didn't think they made the fuelex for the gb350 mainly the enfields. i had one on the classic 350 reborn but cashed it about 4 months back on ebay

i'll be doing reviews on the 3 ive bought this year. those being suzuki vstrom 250 sx/nmax 155 scooter and honda gb350. all interesting bikes
