I thought that the rental coverage offered is for when your car is in repair shop and you still need to have an auto to get around. This way your not paying out of pocket.
Isn't rental reimbursement simply money for you if you need to rent a car after an accident? Your general liability/etc. should cover insurance when you rent a car.
drop down to the level you can comfortably afford :) also note that the 100/300 level of coverage is more applicable to higher cost of living/labor areas, so might not be fully needed
