I turned an expired domain that was a Shopify store into a website that teaches people how to start a drop servicing business. Now its an asset for my portfolio.
awesome content thanks. for beginners like myself, I wanted to know if I can get an expired domain, rebuild the content in place and enjoy the traffic. I learned that it is probably best to do that, but then build a relevant page, link to that internally then put my affiliate link on there so i dont trash the seo juice.
How dose this work? Because google made an algorithm update in 2003 that resets the domains SEO authority. Am I better off catching a domain that's pending delete to retain the SEO authority?
So I see majority of questions are not answered but I hopefully I hear back on this one, around 30 min in Sean suggest to get an additional domain build up content and then do a 301 redirect to your "main" site or he actually words it is have that the main site "aquire" the other site that is ranking as well what happens too all the content on the site that is beimg forwared on a 301 from what I understand your really only transfering the link juice from other sites linked to that one and the content on the that site (now being redirected with a 301 to the main site) what happens to it? Ia it just floating out cyber space or are you combining all the content of both sites? Fantastic video thanks for the valuable content, much appreciated!!
This interview was great! Thanks for sharing! So, it's not a good idea to 301 redirect straight to the Homepage! What if I go for a web 2.0 site and redirect it to it, and then link to the main site homepage?
I was just wondering when if it is true that there is limited time-frame from the domain being expired upon restoring a site on it? Since all domains need to get expired to be able to get them from just the registration price, right? It seems to me that if they are not restored quick enough they loose all (future) power, even when the authority links still remain. Is this also your experience?
