Tbh it's not that hard once you get used to the process. It just takes a while for the item to get to you, due to the many buffers and other parties involved. But in the end, if you want to save money (and decrease the risk of buying bootlegs), it's very much worth it ^^ And thank you ^^

Available Shipping methods will vary from country to country. I used to use SAL small packet. But I don't think they offer that anymore. I'd say to just try using the cheaper Shipping options (they usually are restricted to a max weight of 2kg tho), unless you happen to have a very heavy item. In my experience I usually receive my items within 3 weeks after being shipped internationally. If you're planning on buying items that are over 2kg I suggest using surface mail (sea Shipping container). Though Shipping in that case will usually take about 2 to 3 months.

1. I think you'd have to contact the Zenmarket customer service is you're trying to buy something from a private Japanese person. I've personally never bought any items that way though. 2. Shipping cost will depend a lot on the weight and shipping method you choose. (100 gram vs 500 grams will already make a big difference in shipping cost for example). I personally recommend using Airmail small parcel for anything under 1kg, and Surface Mail for anything over 1kg. Shipping times will take a while with the latter, but the price is very affordable. 3. Parcel measurement limitations can be found on the "how much will it cost", side tab. 4. Yes, as explained in the tutorial, if you buy something from a Japanese website through Zenmarket, you pay the regular item price + zenmarket fee + domestic shipping cost. Then later on you pay for the international shipping + import fees. Zenmarket has a lot of popular webshops integrated within their site however, so you often don't even need to visit the original webpage. 5. Proxy shopping works a lot different compared to buying things from normal webshops. As explained at the start, you're paying another company to buy things FOR you, and they in turn will then ship that item to you. Hence why there's a lot of steps involved. Do keep in mind that there have been a couple of changes to both EU law regarding importing of non-EU merch (mainly the VAT exception no longer existing), as well as some policies on Zenmarket's end.

Are they any good? The main thing that i heard about from them is that they have a lot of hidden fees and that their packing method isn't really secure (no bubble wrap). But that's stuff I mostly heard back in 2018. Not sure if its true or not.

Yep, you change the declared value to any amount you like. This will however cost you a couple extra yen. And as far as I know: nope. ZenMarket will refund all money of the content's real value, in case your parcel gets lost. The only exception being the SAL small package option (which I personally use). With this option the max amount of refund you can get is 6000 yen. I've never had any of my parcels get lost though (have ordered 10 parcels so far from them).

Thanks for the reply. I also asked ZenMarket about this and they told me that the extra fee you have to pay only is about 1-3% of the difference between the real and the lowered value. They also said that you only receive a full refund if the package is lost, but only the declared value if it got damaged. Another thing they told me though is that if customs asks for documents, they won't be able to help me and are not responsible for problems that might occur. Did you ever had any problems with customs yourself?

True yep. Nope never. Tbh I don't think you won't really get into much trouble for this. Unless you of course decide to buy some super expensive accessory (a watch for example), and list the item's value to be 500 yen. In that case perhaps customs might get a little suspicious. But overall I wouldn't worry too much. I also usually limit my parcels to about 3 items or so, to prevent my parcel's value from going over the 6000 yen refund limit (for SAL small packet).

Alright, thanks for your reassurance. The reason why I was a little hesitated was because I got screwed when I bought something from China on Alibaba.com once. Although the seller did included an invoice which included the price of the items, they forgot to write down the shipping cost. In the end I had to pay DHL almost 50% of the original package price, which kinda sucked. xD Anyway, I ordered a couple of items to try out their service and I hope they will arrive soon. :D

Ehh I'm not quite sure. I've never done it myself. If the purchase fails they will refund the money back to your Zenmarket funds. If you want the money back in your bank account I'd suggest reaching out to their customer support.

If you're worried the products you buy through them won't arrive at your place, don't worry. I've personally send about 12 parcels so far using their service, and all arrived in fairly reasonable time. All shipping methods come with tracking. Even if your parcel does end up getting lost, they'll refund your money (as its covered by their insurance). So believe when I say you can trust them. If you're still skeptical though, I recommend just purchasing something cheap for your first purchase. (mine was a pokemon plushie)

Do you have the correct currency selected? When adding funds to your account using PayPal, you get the option to pick which currency you want it to be converted from. Perhaps you selected a currency you don't have in your account? Idk. I've never experienced any trouble adding any money to my account using PayPal.

You can yep!! When creating your parcel you can change the declared value. Which is helpful if your country only detains parcels over a certain value. Sadly no longer the case in the EU though.

Sometimes there might be delays. Have you checked your tracking? If your parcel hasn't arrived despite your tracking code saying its been delivered probably best to reach out.

Ah are you talking about Surface Mail? It is trackable, but you won't receive frequent updates. Surface mail is shipped by freight, usually by boat. I've personally used it once for a rather large parcel (Surface mail shipping is relatively cheap for heavier items). Arrived just fine after about 3 months or so.

@@hiyorichan7 Yep everything was in great condition. Not even any bumps on the box (shipped a fairly large figure). But if you're planning on shipping something fragile, you can always ask them to wrap it in extra protective bubble wrap. I usually do that for anything like mugs or cups.

The full price you have to pay consists of the item price itself + 300 yen service fee + domestic shipping + international shipping. However you can collect multiple items at the warehouse and then have them shipped all at once in one parcel. This will reduce the international shipping price per item. Depending on the declared value you noted down, you also might have to pay customs (here's where you gotta watch out, as customs can easily increase your price by another 25% or so)
