Thanks for this, you have no idea how helpful this is to die hard JDM enthusiasts looking for specific items for their rides of choice, whether it’s a Delica or a Celica! Having owned a number of Preludes over the years (1st one being an 87 2.0-Si) the rest 3rd generation models, as well as 2nd gen and 3rd gen CA Accords! Unfortunately the JDM scene was very limited to those ONLY in the know and it wasn’t till the F & F films that brought it to the import/tuner scene….but usually not in the most tasteful ways! Before the internet, acquiring good genuine JDM parts meant knowing someone that traveled to Japan regularly, gray market importer, or shops that sold Japanese engines/trannys etc. and because of that, none of my first Hondas ever received any JDM goodies 😢 Today, my Twenty rear old Honda has no fewer than ten (noticeable)exterior parts and now I’m putting together a FULL genuine Honda Gathers ICE system by way of eBay Japan and Nengun - those guys are super helpful and I already have four different VXH & VXD series CD/MD/TV/Navi units to swap around and play with and never knew why the speakers were so pricey till I heard them and the raw carbon fiber cones are super cool! Once you go down the JDM rabbit hole, there’s no coming back….yeah most would say what you paid for those tail lights, which are totally sweet and the extra $250 was worth the coolness factor and standing out from the crowd, is insanely ridiculous but can you really put a price on pride and joy!
