Suburban taxes are much higher the the city taxes. They can be double and triple sometimes. I pay $3900 I'm Chicago per year for a 2 flat. When I show clients properties in the suburbs it has been $8-12k per year on a house.

Is a townhouse or Condo considered multi-family and are they good investments? There HOA fees are high as hell though! But I've seen condos and townhomes under 50,000.00 in Texas.
Multi-many multiple ppl/family can rent different units on property. So 2 or more units is multi-family. If you had a townhouse and turned it into 2-3 apartments that would be multi family
