Just bought my TRK502x and collect it on Sunday. Thanks for the videos they were a great help for me trying to make a decision across 3 different bikes 🎉
Thank you for the kind words. Its great to hear positive feedback about the content on the channel. I'm sure you will not be disappointed with your choice. Ride Safe
I had the Trk 502x for about 18 months and did almost 7k miles, I swapped it in about a month back for the new Trk 702x and am very impressed with the upgrade for not too much more money in. I come from a sports bike and supermoto background and have been riding on road now with a full license 26+ years. when I first bought my Trk502x it was my first adventure bike and I absolutely loved the bike from day one, this opened my eyes to adventure bikes. The only thing I felt my 502X lacked was a little more power on long motorway rides, hence why I swapped her in for the 702X. In your video you mentioned you test rode the Honda 750 transalp, Give the 702x or the 702 a test ride, I think you’ll be very impressed with the little upgrades and tech… (although I’m still waiting for my optional heated seat and grips arriving and be fitted to my bike) The only thing I have done to my 702x is put an aftermarket larger screen on which has improved the wind protection for my 6’3 and 130kg frame 😂
Thanks for checking out the review. It's great to hear the 702 is a good bike. From what I've heard, all the UK bikes are now sold, and no more will be arriving until next year. I will definitely be testing one ASAP. Ride safe 👍
@@BikeRiderReviews I bought my bike from Wigan motorcycles (part of the MotoGB group who are the importers of the Benelli brand to the U.K.) While at the dealership I was speaking to the sales bloke Colin who I’ve dealt with a few times now and he didn’t say that they’d all sold out when was Asking/speaking to him on Thursday about the bikes in general. I was there getting my service done as I’d done 1150 miles in a month of having my bike. When I bought mine though I bought the grey/yellow as only had a choice of that or the dune sea colour scheme as all the green/yellow and white/red were all sold out.. Might be worth giving them a call and seeing if they can help out. 👍
Really good video 👍 having been riding for over 40 years now, I have found I prefer the adventure style bike and now have a 900 rally pro, which I love. Problem today is a lot of dealers only allow you 30 min test rides, which is definitely not enough time and some don't do test rides 😂 So once you decide on a bike, go to multiple dealers and have lots of 30 min test rides in different areas and on different roads 👍 Stay safe all and enjoy the experience mind 😂
Thanks for checking out the channel. Great bit of feedback. What I tend to do if the dealer only allows a short test ride is just agree. Then, if I'm interested in the bike after the test ride, I say nothing. I then wait a few days and ask for a second longer test ride, saying I'm 90% sure about the bike but need a longer ride to be a 100% sure before buying. Usually, they will allow you a longer ride. If they don't, then I don't think I'd ever want to buy from a dealer who offers such poor customer service. Ride safe 👍
Great video, thanks. My advice would be always buy your dream bike, realise its not right, and continue the journey. I'm on 5 bikes in 9 years so far, not regretted one of them, only regretted the lack of money and space to have not been able to keep them all..NEVER SELL A BIKE. peace ❤
Thanks for checking out the video. If you are the type of rider who puts his hearts desire above everything else, there is absolutely nothing wrong with just buying your hearts desire. As I said in the video, when I was younger, I was absolutely that rider. I think the most important thing is doing whatever is right for you. Thanks for the feedback, ride safe 👍
