GTA 4 was interesting but really frustrating when trying to play, it’s a shooter game that made guns harder to find. SA had the best, some even had shooting ranges with mini games at the back
Guns are not that harder to find, I had a lot of money by the time I completed many missions, also little Jacob will sell you guns at a cheaper rate if you hang out with him enough.
The gun stores were marked on the map dude, not just that but gun stores in every GTA game are fucking useless. In every GTA that I play, I start with a pistol and eventually either the missions or the map will bring me better weapons.
In GTA Liberty City Stories, there are two gun shops-Ammu-Nation and Phil Cassidy’s-which is located in Staunton Island. Like GTA Vice City, the weapons are hanging on the wall and to purchase it, walk to the marker and select any weapon you wish that are unlocked by completing story missions. Phil Cassidy’s sells heavy weapons that aren’t available in Ammu-Nation, like rocket launchers but they cost a bomb.
Everyone always leaves out the PSP "Liberty City & Vice City Stories" GTA games. Those games definitely should've had a wider release on more platforms. They're so slept on! Great games nonetheless from what I remember.
They were ported over as physical copies for The PS2 but were talking 2006/2005 they were released, on PS3 store u can still buy them too they just got overshadowed due to San Andrea's and 4
They were the best! China town wars had so much fresh style. I left them out in my comment because they had no memorable quotes at the gun spots. But they dropped the ball not ever doing another london game for psp or ds.
@@mrg8317 y'know, now that you say that, I'm pretty sure my ex at the time had gotten a hold of a PS2 version of Vice City Stories for me. I definitely remember the PSP version of each but you actually just unlocked a memory for me. LOL thanks for that.

its a youtube short, you can only put 60 secs of content and also vcs and lcs have the same thing as gta 3 and vice city, so theres no point of showing them.
really wish this had existed before - I beat all those games never knowing there are firearms. It really changes the entire game for me. I thought I was an unemployable perpetual victim of assault and police violence. Worst game ever, but I'll try it out after buying a gun
Ammunations aren’t present in GTA 4 because Liberty City has stricter gun laws. This is also why the guns are more authentic looking because they are imports. In GTA 5 the laws are less stricter which is why the guns all have rails, because they are manufactured. The biggest example is that in GTA 4 the AK47 is European and the GTA 5 version is made by Shrewsberry, an American manufacturer.
What I would like to see in gta 6 is a black market type of gunshop where you go to an NPCs house where they have their own workbench and can give you modded weapons or highly illegal guns that aren't sold in standard gunshops. So let's say you can buy the standard weapons such as pistols, shotguns, Smgs, rifles and ARs there at a regular gunshop, but you can go an underground black market place and mod those weapons with drum mags, red dot sights, or buy wepaons ranging from desert eagles to a taped up tech 9s, sawed off shotguns and mini ARs also buy weapons RPGs, boltguns, or things like grenades, molotovs, and C4, and melee weapons like knives brass knuckles, etc. Hachets, machetes, hammers, maybe bring back the chainsaw that you could buy that from let's say a tool shop, the possibilities. (SORRY FOR THE LONG RANT IF YOU MADE IT THIS FAR😂)
There are so many people that will never understand the pure pain of having to buy all your guns again every time you’re wasted or busted since that hasn’t been a thing since the 3D Universe iirc
Vice City had the best Ammu-Nations because each one had different weapons making each one of them unique instead of stuck all the weapons in a single place
I think gta 4 has the best gun shop. Since liberty city is based on nyc, it makes sense for Nico, Luise, and Johnny to buy guns from secluded private dealers since nyc has strict gun laws. But I like gta 5’s customization and how there are more weapons to choose from. Especially in online.
In gta4 its not ammunation shops these are black market guns with their serial number scraped off. NYC has harsh gun laws and Liberty Coty replicates it
You forgot an honourable mention for gta4 when you unlock/meet little jacob as a friend and build your friendship level above 70% (roughly) you can just call him and he brings the guns to you. Click, clack POW OFFICER DOWN
