Buying investment property right now is risky business. Some destinations are too saturated for STR. Some destinations have new restrictions on STRs. In general Housing market values are crashing in many popular destination metro areas. Do not catch a falling knife. Inflated values are still falling according to the data available. Never own business assets or other non exempt assets in your own name. I missed your part about setting up your correct business entity for real estate. You should consider leasing a property on a NNN lease and then making it available for STR model. Lots of creative ways to control real estate without owning it. Now is the worst time to buy an Airbnb. Why answered: Well I am not getting anymore airbnbs in my areas. Rates and values, expenses too high and income is way down. Too saturated. It just seems to be getting worse. Was hoping to retire early but cannot now. People turned it into the next get rich quick scheme, selling courses, like this channel.
