Just used your video worked great! Stole the kill switch by the start button and spliced it between the yellow and black on the cdi box so I could turn it off. Have to use a screwdriver inbetween the starter positive and negative screws but hey I'm back on the Rd! Thanks man! I learned more in 2 mins then I did in watching hr long wiring videos!
Awesome video, after 3 hours of stress and time to kick the friggin thing over it started easily after wiring it up the way you described in the video, kudos to ya dude and a big thank you from me 🏍️👍😊
Big man, my wiring harness has 5 wires and they're diff colours compared to the video. The green wire from the stator and from the wiring harness are both female inlets. Then there a white wire on the harness and a yellow from the stator, everything else matches except for these, any help?
Amazing video worked great!!! no drill for me tho……… run the negative from the battery to the green ground on the motor and when you tap the red from the starter to the battery fires right up……kill switch undo the red and black (from the motor to the cdi) and wire the switch in to serve as the connection
This is a very good video. It is straight forward and right to the point. I just paused the video a time or two rewound as necessary and within 10 minutes I/we had it RUNNING.
Can't wait to try man I have 11 children and that would be awesome to know thank you sir I hope this works PS you have a lot of good follower comments on here keep up the good work
Got my atv up and running thanks to your video great video and it made the wiring very simple and easy to do thanks for a great video and awesome advice
Nice video. Simple and stress free. But my question is. Where do I connect my battery too? You get me? Or do you have another video that shows your kill switch ?
Sorry so long getting back to ya. And yeah there right, that's the same thing I did, I had to hook up a kill switch. And this way bypasses everything!! No dead man switch, no holding the Break to start.
Gonna give this a shot i have a cdi 124cc in my 2015 pbr and had to much unnecessary wires so I'm stripping it and gonna use this in the am maybe get my 900 dollar project that's just been sitting another go in the morning thank you
Can you send me a email picture of the way you hotwired the motor to start & run ? My wire's coming out of my motor are, .yellow. .blue. .green. .red & black. .black & yellow. Can you please. tell me how to wire up from the motor to the coil to start & have it stay running & rideable I think the motor is a 80.cc or a 90.cc Honda pullstart it's a 4. Speed all the gear's are up & all the way down is nuwtrolle I really do appreciate it too & Thank you very much...???!!!. This is my email address 😊 ok thanks. VirgilStewart42@gmail.com. 🤙🤟🤘👌✌️🤝🤞😉🙂😁.
Thanks for sharing. What kind of driver are u using in the drill to turn the engine over? Got a 90 GKG-2 go cart w/ Lost the key, mercy. Thanks again, - take care man.
Say buddy I have an extra red wire. Can combine that one and the black and red one. I just put a new stator but the there’s the two extra wires that you say I don’t need, ok so is that ok?
I hooked it up just like you did I only get power coming out of my little black box the white and black the yellow and black wire coming out of my CDI box is not
Bro somebody cut all the wires to everything on this scooter I got so it's a bunch of splice wires all over it n none of them are connected can u make a video of trouble shooting the speedometer and signals if u could please u made it simple for motor hoping u could do the same on everything else
Did you press that auto start button? If i eliminate the rest of the harness, where what starts the engine? Im not getting spark and for some reason, when the kill switch is flipped to the 🚫 position, it stills turns over but no spark or start! ANY clues?
Can you make a video on this again? And show me what if you used from the wiring harness or what I would need to purchase to make this work without the harness? Please
Im just swapping my sons 50cc for a 125cc buggy The new engine has 2 yellow wires, the harness on buggy has white and yellow. Which do I pair? Thanks for the help
If Im not mistaken them two wires are supposed to be for your lights, If you did not hook those up it wouldn’t keep the motor from running, but honestly you really can’t mess anything up, if you hook up wires wrong it’s not going to fry anything trust me I am pretty much dirt poor and I have no computers or anything to test wires like that, so I have actually hooked up wires all different kinds of ways to try to get a spark, And then when I got that first part I put my spark plug on and it fired right up, I drove that little four wheeler for miles on dirt trails it did so good throughout all that and still does good, so I’d say hook yellow to yellow and yellow to white if it doesn’t work that way switch them around
Sorry so late getting back to you and this bypass means there are no lights or toggle switches the only way you can kill the engine is unplug your spark plug wire
Yes you do need the coil that your spark plug hooked up to and the CDI box that's all you need and your Killswitch of course I'll make a video One day about that
I have a little yamoto 150cc. I can't figure the wiring out. I just want it to run. If I just straight wired it like u did how can I put a on and off switch on it
My motor has a set of wires coming off the magneto and then there's another set of wires coming from the same spot one set plugs in cdi box.what do i do with other 6 wires
Hey man this didn't work for me brand new every new wiring harness I bought a quad was running great Washed it with the hose and it died no spark sine even new wiring harness and stator everything nothing is getting spark
@@Jeremy-fk6zh hey man what's ur name on fb I'll add you never kno when I'll need help but I put a new stator on it but it was faulty I put another new stator in I had and did this and it worked fired right up thanks so much man knowledge helps now I know a trick forever thanks so much I'm always messing with these quads buy and resell them
hey brother you stated that coming out of the motor there is a)yellow b)white which those two arent needed and then C) is the green (ground) d) black and red (stator) and the e) black and white (pulsar). Mine doesnt have the black and white, mine has a blue and white. So would that be the pulsar? in your video the one you mmention looks blue and white.
I dont think u can bypass it. the cdi is the brain, for your motor. with out it, it wouldn't know how to spark right or even at all. I've always had bad plug, bad coil, bad stator, bad ground,
It's an engine son,and engine!! Lol,great video, been wondering how to do away with all that crap on my daughters atvs, now I know, plus adding a kill buttons easy peasey.. .
I GOT a 4 wheeler for my daughter and the key switch was completely gone so I was left with 4 wires if I touch 2 a red and black then they pop the fuse. But the other 2 don't do nothing and I have no neutral light so which 1 is my ignition.
Batterie/positive to starter with switch.. batterie/ negative going to ground on fraim. Should start this way. Then I hooked solor pannle directly to batterie.
@@justinc9911 sorry for getting back so late it would more than likely be your coil try your spark plug first if it's not the coil check your grounds if it's not your grounds it could be your stator your pulser normally doesn't go bad but I'm not saying that it can't go bad but that would be the last thing i check,
Could u give me the wiring info for a gs450 Suzuki engine I put on a go cart it turns over but can’t get a spark. I know it’s pretty much the same thing but I am a dummy from west Tennessee that cannot for the life of me figure that stuff out . Thanks for the video on the 110cc by the way good job explaining
@@Jeremy-fk6zh hey man i have the quad 4 wheeler and the lil pocket rocket also . I thought they were the 110 cc but last night i saw on top of both engines instead of 110cc it said 107cm whats that number? And i did get the lil pocket rocket started last night thru the solenoid . Thanks for the video on how to wire the stator
Good job buddy I’m glad it helped, and the 107CM means it’s a 110cc I don’t know why they do that other than it being a China quad, you’ll see 47CM 49CM I believe an those are 50cc
