In this video you calculate the bend of 90 and 135 equally by 2d×no.of bend but in 4 legged u used 3d×no.of bend for 135..plzzz clear on that

Ok people,, you have a tie that is 500x500 with 135 degree returns ,, what you need to do is take off 40mm off each bend so your tie over all length is 2100 will be 1860

Dear sir i hv a little confusion about deduction for bending in ur calculation. Plz dont mind sir.. U hv taken 5 bends out of which 3 are 90 degree and rest two is 135 degree. For 90 degree bend we consider 2d and for 135 degree this will be 3d .. But u hv taken all the bending as 2d .. For which reaults become different .. Kindly tell me if i am wrong..

sir,if a bar is 45 degree bent,then we deduct d from total length. for 90 degree bend, we deduct 2d. and for 135 degree bend,we deduct 3d,,so in this video why do you deducted 10d,instead of (3*2d)+(2*3d) ..please reply

Mujhe acha laga apne ye chij notice kiya video me. You are technically correct lekin site pe practical field me generally use nahi karte islie nahi kia maine. but u are 200% correct. maine ispe ek video v banane wala hu ki kitna degree pe kitna deduct karte hai. Thanks

Indra Upa bro you are right, but practically or you can say it is advisable , to cut more than the calculated length for better as well as properfit of the ring, but technically you are right !!

actually hota kya hai - : 45 degree bend ke lie 1d, 90 degree ke lie 2d aur 135 degree ke lie 3d deduct kia jata hai. but practically maine site me kavi kisi ko dekha nahi karte islie mai wo bataya tha. lekin ye sahi tarika hai karne ka. fir v ye tarika koi use nahi karta. sab 2d hi karte hain

Sir, why we need to go up to the center of bar and deduct 4+4. Once we deducted the required cover from both sides as mentioned say, 40 each side. please help us in a bit more explanation. thanks

Yes You can Also do that. then formula will change. We can calculate the stirrups length in various ways

According to IS 13920:2016, Minimum hook for 135 degree is now revised to 65 mm or 6db which is more.

for stirrup clear cover will be 25mm for bar less than 12 dia and 40mm for bar equal or greater than 12 dia here you mention 8 dia bar means clear cover will be 25mm
