Thanks for the video! I was always getting calculations wrong because I wasn’t matching true course with true winds or magnetic course with magnetic winds

Excellent and very simple the only thing I can add if I can edit this video is use a real e6b decided that for people who likes to see more visual but thanks a lot I'd like also to advise everyone to join part-time pilot

Hello, I was just wondering why you initially set the center point on 160 instead of 100 to start your calculations?

It doesn’t matter where you set it as long as you correctly mark your wind velocity up from that point. So if wind velocity is 15 knots and you set the middle point at 100 then you would mark wind velocity at 115. If you set middle point at 160 you would mark wind velocity at 175. It doesn’t matter because you will be sliding the whole scale down to your true airspeed at the end anyways. The only thing that matters is that you make a mark 15 units up from center.
