I think, measure the amount of content the soap mould can take by putting it on a scale and pouring water/oil into it. Atleast this is what I did.

Hi! Can I ask a silly question. When I mix say 1288g water with 644g lye… the total weight after it’s dissolved and cooled is only 1850g when I expect it to be 1932g… is this normal? As when I then split it for say a rainbow - I’ll take the 1850g divided by 6. So the weight changes once mixed? Thank you

Use 1% turmeric. If you are making 100g of soap for instance use 1g of turmeric

The 0.3 is a constant value. You will use this all the time. Now that you know the 0.3 is a constant value. Please watch the video again. You can slow it down and make a note. Take care.

Use lye calculator then. If you take your time to watch the video well, you will understand it but if can't get this right, pls use lye calculators online
