How to calculate moments with the cross product

This engineering statics tutorial goes over how to calculate moments with the cross product. Even though the cross product is only for vectors with 3 components, we can use it to calculate moments in R2 by simply setting the third component of each vector to zero!

Position on a graph would be negative (the point where force is acting is at x = 3 and y = -4 and z = 0)
