suggestion, You could HATCH the ouline of the stair then check the properties of the HATCH for AREA then multiple for the DEPTH

Another Shortcut to find Area is to Give Hatch Command inside Staircase Section and then press Ctrl+1, then Go in Geometry, you will get the area. No need for ployline and area method which requires more time to draw it again.

Thanku very much sir for this video where I clearly understood about the volume of concrete in case of stair but sir I want to request you that how I can excellent in autocad.Is there any best institute in our country where I can learn autocad excellently. please tell me is there any way to learn me about autocad. yes in college there was tought only basic knowledge like drown line , rectangle etc. yes sir i would have a good knowledge in construction project becoz I have a guru ( teacher ie you) .So please sir tell me how can i become excellent in autocad or what should I do ?
