Understanding square root questions was the most troublesome for me ,I watched many videos regarding it but all in Vain ,this teacher has made me surprised by his eloquent method marked with comprehensive delivery of lecture
Chandan you are fantastic teacher. I am 76 and watching your channel it reminds me of my school days. I am so glad to find your channel you explained it so well couple of times with patience. I really enjoyed your class. Thanks for your efforts 🙏 uk.
You have me addicted...clearly a person should have a foundational grasp of basic math - if they do, it will only take a little repetition to pick this up...almost there (from Houston)
your the best math teacher for me im a filipino but i truly appreciate your effort to share ,im a math major and im teaching for 7 years i will always treasure this wisdom God bless i will tell my class about your video very inspiring
One additional thing, if the result of multiplication is equal to the first two digit, then go for the higher last digit. Eg: sq( 1296) , last digit is either 4/6, square close to 12 is 9 and sqrt is 3. Next step 3×4 =12 which is neither less nor big. So we go for the highest last digit which is 6. So answer will be 36.
Correct. But, here you are using another method when the multiplication is equal to the first two digits. So here, you are using a general method when the result of the multiplication is less or more than the first two digits and a special method when the result of the multiplication is equal to the first two digits. You are burdening your mind with two methods when one method would suffice. Try it for simple perfect squares like 121, 144, 169, 225, 256, 289.. ...and as you know the answer before you work it out you'll easily see why one method is enough........or for 100! Remember, for those sitting for exams, with some 9 subjects to go through quickly AND ACCURATELY, it is wiser to use one method when it works in all cases. AS LONG AS ONE UNDERSTANDS WHAT'S HAPPENING.
Hi sir, this is praveen from tamilnadu. I have been watching your video since i got selected for NTPC cbt 2. Though i didn't cracked that, but now i got selected for RRC group D . I'm glad to say that Your videos helped me in many ways. Thank you so much for your guidance and support sir. ❣️❣️❣️
Possible roots of 676 are 24 and 26. In order to find the correct root we multiply 2 by it's next higher number 3 and get 6. When we compare 6 in 676 with 6, we find both are equal. When both are equal, always choose the bigger number between 24 and 26. Hence 26 is the correct answer. Another method: Find the square of middle number i.e. 25 . 25^2=625 When 676 is compared with 625, we know 676 is bigger than 625. Hence bigger number 26 is the correct answer.
Dear Sir. My intention is not to find mistakes or fault. But please let me tell you that all numbers end with 1 or 4 or 5 or 6 or 9 are not perfect squares . examples: please try 3839 or 3236 or 5884. All these numbers end with 9,6and 4. but still they are not perfect square roots. This may the case even with the examples shown by for cube roots also. Please check it.
I thought I was the only one who has doubt and scrolled many comments then I found one, what I observed that this technique isn’t working on many numbers though they ends with 1/4/5/6/9.
You just blew my mind! 🤯 Why don’t teachers teach this?? None of mine did, but I’m about to turn 55. Lol We pretty much learned one way to do things in most cases.
Very useful guidelines sir. In the last question 306916,after eliminating the last 2 digits, how to find the closest square number near to 3069.?you said 55. But maximum we can memorize till 20^2. Or maximum 30^2. But it's 55. Just clarify me
Sir if get, in root start 2 digit is also have square number like 64,36,16,49 ....... what I do please reply sir my doubt 🤔 Apki tricks bhout bhout infinite time achi hai🥰🙂
1.Sir, perfect squares end with zero this statement is wrong as square root of 11000 never be perfect square. 2. As u said number ending with 6 is also a perfect square, for this u showed us trick of finding easy answers for square root number ending with 6. Then solve square root of 3846. I tried using ur trick it says 64, but actual right answer was 62. I am in dilemma whether to use these tricks in examination hall or not, because few tricks fail. Please some one give me explanation. Thankyou
thank you for the short method you showed us .but I have a question. as you said, any number that ends with 0,1,4,5,6,9 is the perfect square number, and you told us to use 3 simple steps. is this work for every square root number with ends with 1,3,4,6, and 9 example, what are the square root of radical 64379 thank you
For a perfect square number ending with 9, its 10s digit must be an even number. i.e. any of 0, 2, 4, 6, 8. 64379 is not a perfect square . 64379 = 64516 - 137 = 254^2 - 137 sqrt 64379 = 254 - 137/508 = 254 - 136/500 = 254 - 0.27 = 253.73 You have to able to find the square of any 2-digit number MENTALLY.
