गाव मे पुरे घरो के छतो पर होने वाले बारिश के पानी को पाइपलाइन से जोड दे और तालाब मे छोड दे तो दूर के धरनो के पानी की जरूरत भी नही पडेगी सम्पूर्ण गाव पानी के लिए समृद्ध हो जायेगा बस सरकार साथ दे ।

Correct, It should be mandate to all property owners to do a separate terrace pipe line into the rain water harvester. It will recharge our ground water and also give a better future.

@@PinNPost Thane corporation gives OC if only society has rainwater harvesting. Additionally, TMC gives a 5% discount on property tax. We implemented rainwater harvesting, and frankly speaking, its improve bore well water quality as well as year water availability.

Thank you very much for creating the awareness for conservation of rain water which , I deem, will be a mandatory task for all of us in very near future. Consequently, I would like to know your views / ideas for making rain water fit for drinking. I personally have tried simple filtering of rain water and then adding Alum to it, allow it to settle and finally decant the clear filtrate which taste to me good enough compared to other sorts of drinking water.

Sir there is a place named SATSANG at Deoghar in Jharkhand, where every homes and ground is used for rain water harvesting system. It is India's largest rain water harvesting system.

In my village ,rain water is stored outside of village in a big pond.The water is not suitable for drinking ,but it is used in nearby fields in crops.....
We know everything but still can't implement. Our focus is on achieving quality of life. ACs and fans make us feel comfortable. But, in reality they are diverting us from the fact that our surroundings have become very hot. Contact lenses make us see clear. But, they are diverting us from the fact that we can't see anything without glasses. Short term enjoyment is giving us long term pain. I , as a student know what is global warming. I know what is climate change. I know what are the things to do against climate change. But , I can't really do things in that direction because of the stiff competition we are facing for good jobs and secured life. To do things for the planet, the pathway is tough and rough. You missed the rain water storage for drinking and cooking. At my place we are using it since more then 14 years now we made a underground rain water storage tank about 45K litres and that water we used it for drinking and for cooking throughout the year . After storage of 45 k litres we pour rain water into borewell rest of the time in monsoon.
In my Chhattisgarh, mostly people are not aware about the Rain Harvesting system and the downfall of ground water level is big problem. When a new home's construction map is approved by the Municipal corporation then the House owner digs a temporary structure for the rainwater harvesting system and after the home map's approval, home owner fills temporary structure.

आपकी पानी बचाने का सुझाव बहुत ही अच्छा है, मेरा सुझाव ऐ है जितने भी ग्राम पंचायत है सभी ग्राम पंचायत में कुएं है। मेरे गांव में करीब दस से ज्यादा कुएं है,बरसात के पानी को अपनी छत से उतार कर उन कुएं में छोड़ दें, तो दो प्रकार से काम करेगा १.जलस्तर बढ़ेगा,२जब जरुरत हो तो पानी भी निकाल सकते हैं।
सिर्फ अच्छी बातों से दाल नहीं गलती,चेतना तो जगा रहें हैं जो जानकारी पहले से ही मौजूद है, साथ में इसे किस प्रकार उपलब्ध करें वह तकनीकें भी बतावें सर जी। ताकि हम अपने पसन्दीदा अनुसार इसे व्यापक करें।
सर जी इस पानी को पिया भी जा सकता है थोड़ा सा जुगाड लगा के। पहले राजाओं के जमाने में इसी पानी को इकट्ठा कर के इस्तेमाल किया जाता था। अगर आप थोड़ा उन तरीको के बारे में बता सके जो आज भी अपनाए जा सकते हो और आर्थिक रूप से स्वीकार्य भी हों तो बड़ी मदद होगी। धन्यवाद।

Jungle,ped katne par rok ,saja ka kanoon ho, Sarkar ko reforestation law banana chahiye.India Pani ki kami , pollution, climate change ke karan flood, intense drought har saal human life+ public property ka nukshan ho raha hai.

ये करना बहुत आवश्यक है सर।मुझे लगता है गांव व शहरों में एक ऐसी जगह चुनना चाहिए जहा ज्यादातर बरसात का पानी जाता हो और उस जगह एक बड़ा सा और बहुत गहरा तालाब बनाना चाहिए जिसे ढक देना चाहिए जिससे पानी वाष्प ना बने और केवल और केवल ग्राउड में जाए जिससे ग्राउंड वॉटर को बढ़ाया जा सकता है।
Rainwater ko jma karne ki zyada jarurat nahi hai. Approx har ghar me kisi jagah par koi purane nal ki boring hogi. Agar rainwater ke pipe ko usse connect kar diya jaye to poora pani ground ho jayega.

I have tried harvesting the rain water in my region but unfortunately pond lining got some puncture which were not able to figure out and our 2 lakh litre gone which we have store in monsoon :( and we are not left with any water for this hot months... our area is very scarce for water and everything is dependent on water. we are very said as we have planted around 1200 trees and all of them need water now !!!
We had a water borewell but once we started to get water from public distribution and stopped using it and now we use the borewell for rain water recharge.
