Hey Max, Would this pack cover 190-200 squares of lawn in one fill? Looking to upgrade to a battery sprayer tossing up between the 414 and 417? Cheers Alex

I use the 414 on my lawn and its 160m2 I manage to get the 10L out over that area almost perfectly. 200m2 would be possible in my opinion. You'd just need to work out the pace.

Depending on how fast you walk anywhere from 6-10L :)

I noticed you didn’t have to prime the sprayer before it started spraying. I’ve had issues with that solo sprayer ever since I bought it - have to prime the trigger every time I use the sprayer & sometimes twice in one session….surely that’s not normal

Easy fix, put the filled sprayer on a table or similar, drop the nozzle and hose as low as it can go, press the button, gravity will help it prime in seconds every time.

Or undo the threaded nut at the base of the trigger to allow some solution to pass

@@thelawnhub that’s the only way I can get the unit to work each time. Problem is when I do this I get products spraying out all over me & thought surely this can’t be right….

The manufacturer recommendation and industry standard boomspray height is 50cm, this allows for double overlap of nozzles also spaced at 50cm being the industry standard . That 50cm is measured from tip of nozzle to top of canopy, not ground, not a big issue on grass that s mown but wheat crops etc it makes a difference.

Single nozzle I like the assurance of 1 foot off ground level.
