CanAm Spyder Aftermarket sound system install. Using Harley Davidson Rockford Fosgate TMS6SG Speakers and TM400x2ad Amp. Paired with a Memphis Xtreme Audio Bluetooth *** This unit has been replaced with a Rockford Fosgate PMX-0 Bluetooth controller. **** I can see and control my phone using the OEM controls see the title on the OEM screen and have it still play via Bluetooth thru the system.

Hi.. Was wondering if you still have the same system? If so Is it still preforming great? I have been looking and looking for some type of up grade for my spyder no one in my area has any idea on it.

When you installed the amplifier, where did you get your power from? Did you run all the way up front to the battery or could you explain how you wired it? I have the same exact bike.

I am also interested in knowing how the wiring was connected to the original audio system? How tweeters and mid-range speakers were mixed on the same channels? Did you use the amp with HIGH INPUT (4 channels) and then bridge the 4 channels in 2 for the new speakers? By the way, very good configuration, I am jealous because I try to do the same installation, but I have trouble to figure out how to get the audio feed from the original audio system to the amp. Please advise, thank you

The amp is just a 2 channel amp. It can go down to 2 ohms and still put out same power. On the original system, the speaker wires were cut and wired to the amp (just 1 pair) The speakers are built with tweeter and woofer. No need to split.

So, I epoxied the Rockford speaker mounts into the OEM speaker housing. Had to do a little cutting.

could you provide more details as to how the amp was hooked up. I think you said CD but might have said CB?

The amp is installed in the OEM empty CB space...adjacent to the OEM radio location.

What is the wiring. Did you use the woofer or the mid-range? It appears as if you used the green midrange wires. I have tried the woofer wires and they have no highs, just the bass. Which wires go to the fosgate input. That would help me immensley. Thank you for your time. Take a look at www.rattlebars.com\spyder\spyder.html. @@Rattlebars Im sorry I didn't see this sooner. This may be a bit long. The OEM amp is a 4 channel amp and has a built in crossover for woofer and mid/high. I have completely removed the oem radio signal. So, I have no AM/FM radio. I just use my phone via the Bluetooth. Although the OEM still controls and shows title information on the screen when hooked up to USB.
