I've got MS and have been in a chair full time for about 7 years. I assumed I'd never be able to take care of grandchildren, if I ever had any. I just found out my eldest son and his wife are expecting a baby next summer! Your tips are so encouraging to me.Thank you for sharing your experiences!
Wow, assuming you figured out a lot of this yourself, it's quite creative problem-solving! I'm not paralyzed, just really enjoy learning about how you navigate life, so thanks for sharing. If I ever have friends with paralysis, I'd definitely point them to your channel. Something I thought with the baby pictures, perhaps it'd be better to censor nudity conservatively? Partly in case the children in the pictures might mind later, partly because RU-vid can be quite strict with striking videos down for a variety of reasons, also old videos or based off of arbitrary future changes in their terms of service. Right now your channel looks comparatively small but it might not always be. :)
Thank you for this. I am confined to a wheelchair and myself and my husband are currently going through the adoption process as I can’t seem to conceive. We tried for a long time. Our agency ask a lot about how I would cope as a wheelchair user which are questions I’ve found difficult to answer due to not being a parent before but this video really helped. Do you have any videos around raising a toddler as questions I am also being asked are about keeping up with a toddler that’s on the move?
