When I learned my cart fulls I lost my cart fronts. I never really got them back because my body twists automatically. Doing more of a gymnastics cart is something I've never thought about. Wish me luck!
Thanks so much man! I am working hard to grow my channel, so I appreciate the support! There are definitely a few "tricks" you could use that seem unorthodox that I've used to teach students for sure haha. For now, If you want to see how I got it, you can check out the video on Fear that I did for halloween. It's got the method I used and how I got double full in it.
thanks for this! literally have been thinking about front flips lately but my 34 year old ass can't really handle multiple punch fronts on grass (hello angry shins lmao) and i only have a roundoff back whip (rather than a tuck) so I couldn't get a roundoff arabian to work. because of this i was thinking a cart front might be the solution but wasn't sure how to approach it -- watched this vid and went out immediately after to train and got it...almost immediately. I still stay tucked too long and don't get as much height as I (hopefully) will eventually, but I'll take it for day one progress. so again, thanks! yr vids are very helpful.
@@ZakFerguson hell ya dude. I think I’m progressing to fast since my first back flip this year and i developed a bad habit of ripping to land my cart fulls and not having good sets for Arabians or fronts now a few months later.
Yeah, next week is Back handspring. I will work on Cork after that. Mine are good, but not Icy so I was trying to wait, but everyone keeps asking so 🤷🏼♂️ I guess it's coming.
Yh but my right hand is sprained so im using an aerial for the cartwheel But i do a webster because i cant front flip but because of the spining momentum from the aerial the webster looks like an aerial semi
It's 100% up to you. That's a blessing and a curse. I learned front flip as my very first trick, so you could regular punch or split leg front. Or you could learn Webster because there are other benefits and routes to learning that. I personally teach my students Gymnastics Dive Roll and Front Handspring around the same time and then Front flip and Webster around the same time, because they are their evolved forms respectively. I will go over this closer to Christmas. When I do a series of beginner videos.
My question does not have to do anything with the cart front but whenever i do a regular front flip, my feet hurt at the landing what should i do to prevent that from happening?
After I did a cart wheel and just a roll literally one time I could already do it I have came up with a combo I might be able to end with this trick in it for my skill level which isn’t good
Yeah, but everyone would just call it cart full. That's one of the ways I teach cart full in my cart full tutorial. 👍🏻 Sometimes I do Cart Front Pike Half and that is a little different.
It do be like dat doh. That's why I make my students learn both at the beginning and then they can choose to keep it or not. Try doing it with more of a straight over, Gymnastics type cartwheel and not a tricker or spin step. Think of it more like a round off Arabian, but with split legs.
@@ZakFerguson i am glad you answer me that fast, i will start this ur tutor right away. I have recorded ur lesson word by word for i could not find the link to download anyway Know this that ur a best teacher i ever know.Thank you.
Possibly fear, possibly impatience, possibly that you don't have enough power coming out of the cart and your body knows it, so you tuck quickly. Usually one of those.
@@ZakFerguson lately finally stomped cart fulls in grass. Slowly i think I’m feeling more awareness and hoping to revisit cart fronts this week. I landed one low last week but let’s checkkkk
Same with me. I think for me it’s a fear thing because in my head I think if I jump really high up, then it’s going to take a lot of energy to flip my body over that height. Whereas if I go early then it’s easier because my body has already started rotating?
