Fantastic video, just got my grandfathers old rods and bought a 8000, this video helped me learn alot. I've been struggling on the rocks to get far out, foot positioning and swing forward. So I'm going to give all these tips a try, I need to actually just put a 2oz on and go down to a field and practice a few casts.

Saltist ! I”d prefer 8000 tp sw , worm gear osc is better for a little bit casting , ground movements is so limited too.

I have a coast line 3 5 ounce and a throwing up to a 5 ounce is easy........if i get a 6 8 ounce rod will it be easy to cast up to 8 ounces because of the rod rating or will it be heavy

@@TheASFN When I am casting over my shoulder, my bait keeps flying to the right hand side? Why is this happening? Is it my action or the timing of my release?
