@@RadReelingFishing they usually don’t because of the size and it’s harder to find. I usually use cut bait sizes up to about 3 inches and they usually don’t mess with it.

@@gladiatorfishing3174 I take Disabled Veterans and Seniors with me when I go. It's just too hot for them this time a year. Come this Fall I plan to be out there at least 2X a week. Then we'll meet!

I really really really need to meet up with you when I'm down. There is a reason...I am a lefty and have never had the opportunity to 'learn' the proper ways to cast/handle my rods. I certainly could use a lot of pointers/tips and could benefit tremendously from some. I'm am a fanatical fisherperson...live and breathe fishing!! Thank you for watching and yes I’m glad to be back lol. I threw the bait about 30 yards out. I use a 3 oz sinker so it goes pretty far. No drifting needed at all, tight lines out there 💪🏾💪🏾

Last fall I decided I was going to try sheep's fishing. I started with floro 20 lbs. It kept breaking. So I bought 30 mono. That was much better. More bites and less break offs. So I just use mono for everything now. Cheaper too.
@@gladiatorfishing3174 I also found it works well for mango. 50 or 60 lbs mono. But I'm using bigger baits. Fishing behind homes. Docks. 6/0 or 7/0 j hooks. 20 and 22 inch mango. Jurassic Park mango. Taramar xx. Rated for 40 braid. Bg 5000 with 40 braid. We also getting keeper grouper under same docks. Plus sno
@@gladiatorfishing3174 floro will work too. It's just more expensive. What I found is using bigger pins for grouper and sno i was scoring bigger mango. Smaller mango don't have the ability too handle the bigger baits. And that's OK because I don't want them Smaller ones. But if I did want small mango I would use mahar, or some greenies. When I say small I'm talking anything under 15 inches.

can we sleep overnight in the small RV?I've heard Tampa bay w/ red tide for last 2 years an the fertilizer factory dumping toxic waste has ruined the bay for fishing. it's killed saw grass/ mamals/birds turtles fish all marine life.
That’s true about the waste management factors and red tide. However the fishery now it strong and the fishing are thriving at the skyway. As for your R/v you can sleep out on the pier. Each pass you purchase is good for 24hrs
@@gladiatorfishing3174 excellent tips on line size an salt in ice looks like you are at the end of the pier if I see you at the pier I'll heat up your honey bun in my microwave oven.I'll also heat up the grouper in my galley. how doe's the time stamp work like if I show up at 6am it's good to stay till next day till 6am?

Just subscribed and enjoy your videos. Most other channels mostly free line for grouper. But I notice you always use a fish finder rig. How do do go the bait out to the rock piles?
This is definitely the south pier.. why you lyin. haha. You can tell from the position of the bigger Skyway bridge. Plus the north side doesn’t have so many broken off sections like that next to the pier. Just one.

Yeah you have to pay to get on the pier it’s like 8.56 for one person and your car. All state parks charge a fee to get in but this one is the most expensive because it’s a drivable pier I’m assuming.
@@fullonfishkeeper8473 I usually use a bobber with a weighted leader and a small greenback or a piece of cut bait for Mack’s. I’m actually going to do a Mack video next Tuesday
