In this video I show how to catch Bowfin (Amia calva) in the Florida Everglades. I have fished for bowfin for over 25 years and in that time I have learned that fresh cut bait is by far the best bait to catch these fish. Bowfin are a prehistoric fish that fights harder than a largemouth bass, and bowfin are able to live in places other fish cannot.
