That song brings back so many good Saturday morning memories. I wrote to bill dance one year in 7th grade. It was for a project we was doing. He sent me 2 of his signature hats and 2 bloopers dvds. He's the reason why I l8ve fishing so much today.
Same here brotha, I would get off school at 3 and manage to catch OUtdoor Life Network (OLN) by 3:30-4. Always been my favorite fisherman and I always loved that intro song! Brings back very nice memories
I’ve been watching Bill Dance on television since junior high school and that was a loooong time ago. The man is a fishing legend in this country. I can’t believe he has less than 100,000 subscribers. Fish on!!!
I sure have missed this ole man and his teachings...he is why I'm a better crappie fisherman...running down my grandfather's hall and him telling me To slow down when bill came on..he would say...Bill's not going anywhere boy...sit and watch..love those days
That intro just hit me hard in the feels. As a kid in the 90's I hated fishing on the weekends because of the crowds at the lake so I'd stay home and watch fishing. During the week I would pretend to be waiting for the bus.... then sneak off to the lake and make sure I'd show back up when the bus arrived. Thanks for the new content to watch Bill, you are a legend!
I grew up to this song, and to this day I attribute this show to being the reason I love fishing and bass pro shops the way I do today. Much love from the Philippines Bill!
I grew up in tn watching bill dance every Saturday Moring that’s how I learn how fish as kid before RU-vid bill your tn fishing legend I salute you sir thanks for everything you done for this state and fishing you make the world a better place
Man oh man the memories of late night early morning fishing shows. Bill Dance is always my favorite. I'm clumsy to but I can catch a crapload of fish. Bill, Rolland, infisherman, Jimmy and others.
Thank you Bill for being a great show and person. I learned alot as a kid and now 56 years old. My biggest crappie was 2 Oz of being 4.0 lbs. Thank u gadsden al, Weiss lake and Henry Nelly Coosa river.
Wow I haven't seen Bill Dance in 15 years, didn't know he still had the show! When I was a kid my dad would take us fishing a couple times a year but I kind of hated it cuz we'd go so early in the morning and stay in 1 spot for hours. I just got back into fishing a couple years back in my late 20's and I enjoy it so much more now because I go in the middle of the day and hike around and find new spots and explore. And now I'm back for Bill to teach me about crappie.
Im 34 and the introduction music reminds me of when we'd go visit my grandparents and Id wake up and go downstairs to a nice breakfast being made and my grandpa sitting at the table watching Bill Dance.
Crappie is my favorite fish to eat and fish, catfish and pike close 2nd,i think Bill can catch fish on just a bare hook he is that good, love the video, stay healthy Bill Dance.
Watching your vids to learn how to catch crappie, so I can teach my 3 young kids. After watching your vids just makes me smile, that I can hopefully one day teach my grand kids (God willing) how to fish.
I've been watching him fish ever since I was a youngster. Still at for over 30 years now, now I watch with my little boy. I hope lucky enough to meet Mr. Dance one day.
Im 33 and will never forget growing up warching this on the weekends i couldnt get out myself. So awesome. As a kid i found the trailer hitch to the shin hilarious. Ok still kind do...
I remember bill dance when I was a kid n he still does it teaching me to n us American to be a great fisherman gotta watch his show especially to catch crappie n blue gills what I love to catch
If I knew what all of these terms meant, I wouldn't need to be watching this fishing show. I don't so I guess I'll go find another fishing show for beginners. BTW Bill, I used to live in Oakland and would often see you travelling while on my way in to Memphis in the mornings. Now I live in AL.
All the years I've seen Bill fish you'd think he'd keep a couple.Folks ask that about other fishing stars also.Reckon they give some away & have enough fish at home they don't need to bring back 28-60 fish just because they're a pro fisherman. Gotta conserve resources for folks who wanna keep a dozen or so over the daily possession limits.
Rumor has it that all Bills videos are shot from Drones now. How many cameramen breathed a sigh of relief 😮💨? I’ve watched Bill from my early years. Going on 67 feeling like 107.
If I had watched Bill as much as my brother did. I’m not 100%sure but I’m almost positive I’d be a better fisherman... cause now..if I had to fish to feed my family.. we would starve..lol
Pond fishing isn’t teaching hell anybody can catch fish in a barrel go out on big water an an teach but everybody likes different stuff so it’s all good
You're absolutely right. There's so much jet ski and pleasure boat traffic here on Chickamauga Lake in TN that you can barely even fish. I can't wait until October!
Red change first at about 5 feet then orange at about 10 feet ... Blue stays blue and purple stays purple through out the water column. Actually no color is invisible its just a change of how it looks to the fish all depending on how far the jig is from the crappies eyes. In stained water after about 4feet the primarly color the jigs appear to be to the crappie is White, Silver and Gray. ( and black for shadows and silhouettes) ... So when the sun hits your pink or chartreuse etc it flashes as a real baitfish and thats what makes them think its a real fish. (Hopes this helps you out bro) ... I grow watching Bill Dance! Legend indeed!
@@crappiesniper Hey good to know! I kinda figured it would be shades of reds but wasn’t completely sure. Can’t learn without asking questions right? Thanks for the reply. Tight lines 🤘🏻
Black Crappies and Bass are invasive fish in the Metro Vancouver Canada area , they are now in important Salmon and Trout waterways sloughs and side streams and lakes that feed into the Fraser River one of the most important Salmon and Sturgeon rivers in North America ,sadly they are not targeted that much and the numbers grow ,
You can't really judge the success of fishing on his vedios. The reason is most of the lakes he fishes are controlled , lots of grown fish and they find the fish for him before he goes fishing. I wouldn't be surprised if before he fishes they draw them in with feed. But I still respect old Bill and use to watch him religiously.
Today is mine today is mine my own special cup to feel today is mine today is mine to do with what I will to die a little so that I might learn to live today is mine
These days all you need is a Livescope and you can just dangle something in amongst them and completely obliterate a school. Technology is going to ruin fishing!
