I actually got a tip. Try to keep the fish as long as u can on the hook. So when ur about to pull up let it go so it can swim back, the trick is to just try to keep it at the water as long as possible. My chances went up greatly. Anyone try this and let me know.

That's a good way to do it but it does cost gems or ads.

@@Phasecast yeah true, and the ad sometimes does not load correctly for me and goes to a black screen so I would not opt for that myself.

Easiest way is to see at around 60m if the tension is red most likely its rare or emperor. Or, at the start you hit it without releasing, if tension goes yellow at some point, it definitely not rare. If it goes up without sign of turning to yellow, release it right before the lines break, it is most likely rare. In my experience, for normal fish, even if you keep pulling while in red, it will not break the line

Also another tip for catching emperor fish in the distant abyss is they switch between red about 4-5 times depending on how good you are switches between yellow 3 times and switches between green 3-4 times (I’ve fished so much that I’ve memorized every fish pattern in the distant abyss) tell me if you want more fish patterns for the distant abyss!!!

Emperor fish also usually go red around 20m out, so dont be too hasty to break the line

Im gonna tell you if you wanna do anot of damage to bosses or elites then void power but you will need it at legandery grade and in battle you will need to evolve it but if wanna protect youre self than ligthchaser i hope that helped you❤

You can get void power from the regular catch exchange instead of light chaser. Much better value from there

Yes, lol! I thought you had to tap the first time I tried it out. Tapping can still be effective though in some situations if you don't want the fish to travel too far in red.

I mean there is an indicator on the right side of the screen and if this indicator doesn't fall below 50% then it is a common fish if 60% is rare but if u have a sticker above 60% u will immediately understand that it is a shark when ur indicator does not fall less 70%, so yeah this is how I get 1m. Also I can see rn if u just f2p u never will get this reward which cost more 60k token or 8 if we talk about special exchange, anyway if u p2w player u can get all this cool item for low price, but anyway this event nice for me, I just joined to this game
