Wow! That's cool. A few years ago, about two, I flew to Maryland with my family to visit my aunt. There is seriously tons of sand crabs! They're so easy to find. We also call them sea ticks and sand fleas, but same thing. We'd go to the beach there every day with my aunt, and you can just put your hand down in the sand and scoop up, and there'd be atleast eight at the most! They bury so fast, we'd have to be quick tho grab them! They don't pinch or bite of hurt in any way, they only tickle your hand. We'd put it in a bucket with sand and collect tons of them over a course of an hour, then, when a person is passing, dump them all out! It'd freak them out so much. It's fun watching them bury, also. How do they do it so fast? I don't know, but they're really cool, harmless creatures!

Used to catch them all the time as a kid at the beaches in Malibu. You can just scoop the sand as the waves go back out and get a ton in your hand. I remember I caught some giant ones that were about the size of a small bird.

I'm never going to the beach again

When I go to the beach the funniest thing is to catch sand fleas, I just dig a hole on the sand and wait por the wave, its really entertaining

If you go to the Oregon coast, you can find trillions of these. Put wet sand in a bucket and then sift it with water.

i remember catching some as a kid but they had a sea weed or leaf tail like when you pull them out of the sand with the ripples

I used to catch those when I was younger before I even knew what it is lol. But I took them by hand right out of the sand then put them back and watched them hide again 😂 it was in the united arab emirates they were there too Btw sorry for any spelling mistakes

Bro it is easy. Just scope up some sand from the beach in a bucket. I dont know where you live but it works here in Florida and Georgia. Never caught a big one or an adult before though.

I would put the clump into a net or mesh bag and rinse the sand out ...🤷‍♀️. Seems easy enough.
