Great video !!!!!! my dad used to sit under the carport and make cast nets 1&1/4 mesh for mullet and he used real cow horn sliced for the neck " horn". He made our nets out of monofilament line back in the sixties i remember a many time shucking oysters/skinning catfish for supper, we ate mullet roe with homemade tartar sauce and hot water cornbread. I had six brothers and one sister so we all worked to feed the family. my dad worked at brooklen air force base in mobile and we fished on the weekends. " sorry if i am too long winded "

Great video, that’s awesome that you put out good information like that. A lot of people want to try it but are afraid to dump a lot of money into it, this gives them a much easier way to start. I have a nice net that I ordered from Memphis net and twine. This is my first year trying to shrimp and we have limited out one time and made other trips just to get a few more and some bait. I would like to thank you and Mikey D for your instructional videos. You guys are great!

Great vid. Looks like you were in my neck of the intercoastal, good to see the shrimp in this far. Have you heard if they were hitting shrimp under the Dunlawton bridge at all? Back in the day, before I got a boat, we used to limit out off the dock under the West side. But since I had to sell it, I may have to try there once again, but I would hate to tape my net up, if they're not coming in that shallow. Haven't seen anyone throwing a net when I drive by, but ya never know. Keep the Great content coming.
