Hey Captain, great videos. You might consider adding B-roll to this type of video so people can see you actually have caught fish doing this. Either that or link videos where you've caught fish using the method you are teaching. I've heard a lot of people complain about RU-vidr's who just talk about how to catch the fish instead of actually demonstrating the method. I've heard good things about your channel.
CA, I love your videos and ill tell you what I have been rocking with flats class since season 2 or 3. I can't emphasize my respect enough, but when you are talking tarpon (aside: I don't really know much about catching them here in VA)--you sit the segment out and have the Lunkerdog run the show haha. He gets a dozen, Runs the dog, and throws lunkers into faces. I'm kidding of course, but really people should watch his channel for a really in-depth look at what it takes to be a great tarpon fisherman.
@@dylannewman5176 also i live in florida and usually hust wait for tarpon to migrate so like summer time april-june i go off jettys or beaches bc the mullet run also is running but u can catch them all year round check shallow areas like flats and back areas with mangroves
Hi CA, I have a question about catching Tarpon from the beach. last week I was in Flagler Beach for the week. there were a few times when I was watching Tarpon feeding on schools of bait. in that situation there were some times when they were close enough to shore to cast on them. although I could only see them when they were jumping at the surface to feed. since they were not rolling I couldn't get any sense of the direction they were moving. do you have any tips for this situation? thanks for any help DTR
@@captainzumafishing772capta9 thx... I got a teramar xh xfast for tarpon and a different one for snook that has already worked well for snook and juvi tarpon.
If I were too hire a salesman I would take someone from the fishing industry . Could sell salt to a snail.not to say these weren’t really helpful tips. How did you rig that jerk Shad is what I want to know. :)
