How to catch Thundurus on Pokemon White - EASY! ( Part 1) 

Dusk Ball at nighttime. If you're using Block and Hypnosis, you might try a Timer Ball after a while. That's what I used to catch Zekrom.

@Munchyboy7 it flies away usually after the first attack. the trick is to use the move "Block" to prevent it from running away. Here's a list of pokemon who know the move and what level they learn it at. Snorlax - 41 Sudowoodo - 22 Nosepass - 19 Bastiodon - 30 Bronzong - 33 Bonsly - 22 Tangrowth - 57 Probopass - 19 and ironically, Landorus - 1 Hope this helps. pressing A repeatedly when it hits the ground does work really well. Caught Latias using this method in White 2, I kept throwing and throwing luxury balls, got tired of it, so I went into pressing A repeatedly. Latias was caught, this was the only time I tried it in the battle. I battled Cresselia, I then used a great ball, once more, this was the first time I start repeatedly pressing the A button in the battle with Cresselia. I caught it. this worked on Heatran too. I did this all in 1 day.

@DMZNetwork Its a roaming pokemon so you can catch it anywhere. Look for a weird waether pattern where it starts raining like crazy and lighting.

@narutorockes13 i found that u can increase ur chance of encountering it if u set ur ds clock to 9:39 pm and save the game when ur in opelucid city. it will either be on the left side of the city or north of it on the way to victory road.

@ninjakolero69 Actually, it does, but you can use only use it once a day, when the pokéball hits the pokémon, you have to press down+a+b, and when the pokéball closes, it will start moving from side to side in the air and then it will fall to to the ground and it will shake just twice and there it is, you've caught your pokémon easier.

@jeusja just use ur masterball. the other legendaries arent worth it. if u really want to catch it the hard way, use a very strong haxorus cuz it knows false swipe by leveling up. itll run away after u attack it. do this until it has 1 hp remaining then either paralyze it or put it to sleep. i suggest paralyzing it; u can do that by leveling a blitzle until it learns thunder wave or buying the tm thunder wave from the pokemart in the pokemon center. then use a quick ball. dont forget to save!!

Remember, begin when it hits the ground. I also pressed A when it opened and closed.

much easier to just use a watchog w/ mean look and hypnosis. At the beginning of the battle use mean look. While then take it down to 2 hp. Do not switch out watchog or thundurus can run. After this its simple. Dont let watchog die, keep putting thundurus to sleep, and catch that mofo. Took me 2 tries w/ a lvl 36 watchog :D.

apperantly pressing buttons doesn't affect the catch rate of Pokemon according to nintendo , there is a set formula and catch rate for Pokemons

@raptorclaw333 No, Pressing B makes it WORSE to catch. I have a habit of pressing all of the buttons at once. One time I was going to catch Lugia, The Ultra Ball wiggled 3 times then I pressed all of the buttons (Y, X, A, B) and the catch failed.

i noticed that sometimes when u throw any kind of pokeball at a wild pokemon, instead of it normally wiggling three times on the ground then clicking, it sometimes shakes in midair then drops, shakes once, then clicks. is this an actual technique that can be mastered or is it just luck? somebody plz help me!!!

So wait atm the Thundurus on my game is Paralyzed and has 1 HP thers a move to make it unparalyzed then i can put it to sleep right? any1 know that move?

i found out u can get thundurus, tornadus, and landorus in the dream world!

it is really hard to see with that light shining in the video

i have spent over 3 hrs not at one trying to catch it i just cant do it

Got that bastard. I found route 9 better and I ran across from the tunnel to the bridge entrance.

i have an easier way. use a quick ball on thundurus the moment it appears. u can do it for other legendaries too
